Avatar m tn I take Spiriva Respimat (tiotropium bromide) 2.5 mcg/actuation, and Wixela (fluticasone propionate salmeterol inhalation powder) for my COPD. Is there a sequence I should be taking these meds in? Is there a time frame I should use between the two meds?
Avatar f tn I purchased the Omron Portable Ultrasonic Nebulizer and am using the vials of Albuterol and Ipratropium. I can only use 1/2 vial because more than that speeds my heart up too much. Can I save the last 1/2 of the vial for later use? Does anybody know of a more affordable way to get the medicine I need? I am paying out of pocket and this economy gets harder every day it seems like.
5915610 tn?1376611217 I needed to know, will I need to see a doctor here and get a prescription to buy my inhaler or I can just go to a medicine shop and can buy it ? Please help ! And if possible also tell me any brand that is available in Italy with the composition same as that of Duolin of Cipla, that is: ======================================… Each actuation delivers Ipratropium Bromide IP equivalent to Ipratropium Bromide anhydrous ... 20 mcg, + Levosulbutamol Tartrate equivalent to Levosulbutamol ...
Avatar n tn Yes, there are. Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) is one and Serevent® Inhalation Aerosol (salmeterol xinafoate) another. Each is a bronchodilator and capable of giving good relief of shortness of breath.
197575 tn?1215532624 Is there a difference between a complex nodule and a complex cystic nodule? I know complex means both solid and cystic. My friend's ultrasound call it a complex cystic nodule. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Hi, I did a search for interactions between Duolin (salbutamol/ipratropium bromide) and doxyfyline and didn't find anything, but a doctor would definitely be better equipped to answer your question. If your symptoms aren't getting any better, despite using the medication, you should definitely talk to your doctor.
Avatar f tn I would like to ask if the ipratropium inhaler is available with the combination of salbutamol and what brand?
Avatar f tn Importantly, differences between subtype 1a and 1b (by far the most frequently encountered genotype 1 subtypes in clinical practice) include different efficacies of antiviral drugs and different resistance profiles to such drugs. Indeed, several HCV inhibitors appear to have selective activity against different HCV genotype 1 subtypes, both in vitro and in vivo....
Avatar m tn what is the difference between addiction and dependence? I was reading another post and someone mentioned that he/she thought someone was dependent not addicted.. I'm just curious. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Avatar n tn One medication may have been developed first and others later that are somewhat similar chemically and in the same chemical family but they may be completely different medications. I take Methocarb and that is prescribed for me to control dystonic spasms. It is an anti spasmodic. Meprobamate is an anti anxiety medication. Any of these medications can be prescribed for other purposes as determined by a doctor or psychiatrist or other treating professional.
Avatar f tn I tried similac and it didnt sit well with them. I know a lot of moms who used similac and were good with it.
Avatar n tn Sorry, I was called away. Both the ipratropium of Duoneb and Spiriva are forms of atropine and my doctor thinks that taking both is overkill. As to the tightness in your chest, because of the overuse of Duoneb your lungs are probably extremely dry and you may be forming thick sticky mucus. So you really should, not only cut down on the Duoneb, but also get yourself an expectorant. I use over-the-counter guaifenesin. I get plain quaifenesin, not Mucinex.
8520554 tn?1398806988 What is the difference between raspberry tea & raspberry leaf tea? Some people told me about raspberry tea bringing on labor but then I see a lot of people on here talking about raspberry leaf tea?
Avatar f tn I was told to stop my spiriva in Aug. that I had been using for about 3 yrs. This was after I had a PFT for the first time. I've had three ct scans over the past three yrs. Shows granulomata and calcified nodules..no change. For the past couple of days I've been very SOB and my arms feel weak and heavy. My chest doesn't hurt it just feels tight/full. Today has been worse. I was also put on neurontin 1 1/2 weeks ago for headaches and wonder if that could have anything to do with it.
15290316 tn?1447023108 This is a topic that comes up alot on this forum....and sometimes I find it hard to see the difference in "addiction" and dependence. I, myself, am an addict and I let my disease of addiction run my life for many years. I am now a bit over 19 months clean, and am very grateful for what I am and where I am. Here's my trouble with the two.....I know many addicts that "claim" that their pain is so unbearable, that can't be without the pills.
Avatar f tn A positive blood test always indicates infection, not only exposure. If you have other questions about it, ask them as follow-up comments in your other thread. Please stop starting new threads with each additional quesiton that comes to mind.
Avatar m tn Is their a difference between Cardiomegaly and Hypertrophic Caridomyopathy? Are Cardiomegaly and Cardiomyopathy interchangable terms?
582508 tn?1219251119 I was recently diagnosed with a PFO as well as an ASA with right to left shunting.. I'm just wondering what the difference is between the two.. From what I've read they seem pretty similar, is that correct?? I was told to take a baby aspirin a day and to come back every two to three year for echos. BTW, I also have a bicuspid aortic valve that was found at the same time as the PFO and ASA.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know what the difference is between Hashimotos and hypothyroid? Thanks for you insight!
