diclofenac patch

Is anyone on Diclofenac? I am on it for an orthopedic condition and have been on it almost 4 weeks. It works, but am unsure how long I will be on it. As short a time as possible, I hope,...but, I was wondering....for those with arthritis (which it usually prescribed for,,).....are you on it daily? As an ongoing medication? I hope to go off it to avoid risks with prolonged usage,but up to now...it has not caused me any problems.

I got prescribed Norco, lidocaine patches, and diclofenac 75 mg. Yesterday I took Norco and I put a lidocaine patch and I woke up with weird heart sensation, like slow heart rate or something. Could it be caused by lidocaine patch? I also take the following medication: Atorvastatin Calcium 80 Mg- 1 tab in the evening Carvedilol 6.

Hi folks! Have any of you used Diclofenac or Voltarin Gel for relief from general pain on thighs, etc.(and other large areas ... LOL? What was your experience? Did it actually relieve any of your pain? I've used the tablet form, but it made me sick to my stomach. Is this likely to do the same? Thanks for your help.

like that was going to last!). 6 months ago I started taking diclofenac (an NSAID) and apparantly it works REALLY WELL for pain b/c I am supposed to stop taking it 7-10 days before surgery b/c of bleeding issues. I stopped it last week and OMG I can't believe how bad my pain became. I could not even walk, could not get comfortable in bed to sleep, etc etc etc.

Question. I have started taking Diclofenac 75mg x's 2 a day to try and see if a non narcotic medication may give me some relief long term with my rib pain. I have taken it for 2 weeks and at first I didn't think it was helping at all. Now I think 1 of 2 things either A) it's starting to build up in my system and is helping better or B) My ribs just happen to feel a bit better lately.

i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.

Does anyone have any experience with diclofenac? If so, does it work better than over the counter antiinflammatory drugs and does upset the stomach much?

It looked like a million freckles with a faint red background from my knee to my ankle and also a heavier patch on the outside of my right ankle. It didn't hurt, wasn't itchy, raised or anything. I only know I had it because I saw it. By the time I got to the Dr it was almost gone however I do still have a bit left. She had no idea what it was and did some blood work for my liver and also white count. My liver test came back with a protein slightly elevated.

Hello, I am an athlete and due to often strains or injuries i need to take non steroid anti inflammatory pills for a few days like ibuprofen, diclofenac, lornoxicam, etoricorib. Even from the first pill, i feel physical exhaustion and then water retention. I am also short of breath, sometimes i feel sleepy and also sometimes my vision acuity decreases. Of course, the symptoms disappear after a few days i finish the therapy. Could someone tell me how to deal with these side effects? Thank you!

I think I need the strong stuff like diclofenac and B12 and b6. There is a pills called OKA B that I use to take when having muscle pain and it took pains away. But I've heard that diclofenac is not good to take during tx. Has anyone taken diclofenac during tx or is it too bad for the liver.

Problem started with a patch of red, painful to the touch, just underneath the two toes after the big toe on left foot. It went from red to black and blue in middle surrounded by red skin. It is painful, stinging pain and bone pain and stiffness in two toes. I've had the foot swell up, twice, which eventually went away upon taking diclofenac and colcrys. Pain, stinging and bone, still persist. I've attached pictures of foot. Help please. Thanks.

I just started using something called the Flector patch which is a patch you put on your skin over the painful area and diclofenac, an antiinflammatory is absorbed - I can't take them orally due to stomach problems. So, what I'm saying is stop beating yourself up, take what you need for medical reason always being aware that addiction is a slippery slope and keep looking for alternatives to the medication. This is a varicocele surgery on his testicles. He had a high fever a few hours ago. I injected diclofenac 75mg in his muscle due to his request. After that, I read about something like "Do not take diclofenac at least 7 days before a surgery". This is about the risk of bleeding, right? I was just given Voltaren Gel(diclofenac sodium topical get 1%) for my neck pain(spinal cord nerve damage) and muscle spasms in my shoulders. I've been using it for the past few days and it has worked wonders for the pain in my shoulders. It comes in pill form too and it is geared for arthritis and pain. I was surprised how quickly it reduced my shoulder pain.

(neck and shoulders are the worst). I am on cymbalta 30 mg, diclofenac and percocet 4x day. Is there anything else that I can do to help the pain? Monday I wen to the doctor cause I was breeding bad an she told me to take a blood pregnancy test right a way I went and my results came back negative. So she told me to take diclofenac for 3days and microgynon tablets for 3months and today makes two days I was breeding for an it stop.

since nov 2010 i have been in and out of hospital 3 times for the same symptoms very painful swollen testecalls each time given ciprofloxacin 500mg tablets,diclofenac sodium 50mg, for six weeks also told to go to st marys hosp to be checked for std have done so and am please to say all clear. been back to my dr for follow on check only to be given more diclofenac to take for another six weeks WHY?.

I ve tried also diclofenac drops and they help me the best actualy but also after some time I have like blured vision after using them. At this time I am using artificial tears and sometimes diclofenac drops when redness is so bad... Please let me know if anybody have similar problems...
