Adderall is so damn expensive. There's these capsules that they sell at headshops, called "adoral" and it's supposed to be a legal adderall. I'm very skeptical, is it safe to replace an adderall script with this stuff? And is it safe to take?
t talk to that point. But adderall does clear the system fairly quickly - which is why you have to retake it daily. That kind of makes me doubt the synergistic effect, but really don't know.

I Have adderall but I am also afraid that when I have to go back to work in three days I will need the adderall just like I needed the vicodin which will lead me to relapse. I have a very busy life and the reason I have not quit before is that I never have time to be sick. I know it is a dumb excuse but it is the truth. I have been prescribed many meds and nothing works until I go to sleep. Recently I was recommended to try adderall, since my son started to complaining at migraines, I was explained that he is hyper and that could cause migraines. Lately my migraines were getting longer than 1 month, sometimes would last up to 3 months straight. Go to sleep with migraine and wake up with one. Since I tried adderall, I can hardly remember those heavy duty migraines! It works great for my hypertensives.

The combination of drugs, citalopram that is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor and amphetamine and dextroamphetamine that are dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor is not recommended. Amphetamines may possess serotonergic activity and should not be administered with SSRIs as there is an additive risk of serotonin syndrome. Enhanced sympathomimetic effects is possible.
Now she is taking 40mg of Vyvanse. It seems to work as well as Adderall and has no GI side effects however, she now does this hand movement thing....its not a tick, and seems to be both voluntary and involuntary. Like sometimes she is aware of it but is drivin to do it subconsiously. She places her hands(both of them), palm facing outwards, to her mouth and wiggles all ten of her fingers rapidly into the air.
ve never been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD but about 2 nights ago, my roommate offered me 4 dextroamphetamine pills to help me study for all of my midterms. I took them all, and my heart was beating really fast and my chest felt tight. Those symptoms went away but now I'm noticing that my arms and head feel slightly shaky. I still feel the effects of WD but no where near what it should be! I took them to get to work I plan to take 10mg for another 2 days and then 2.5 for 2 more and then STOP. just wondering if that is ok to do. I know using one for the help of another isn't ideal but I just couldn't miss work. I know me bad I will NOT continue the adderall So do u think that's ok?
I do appreciate any input, but I feel that if I am charged to speak with a physician, they should take the time to look at my questions and try to answer them if at all possible. I was curious about the effects of taking adderall had on motor neuron and glutamate function. I am currently in medical school and have been taking adderall for some time now and notice that when I am taking in caffeine along with adderall I experience muscle twitching within my arms, legs, and fingers.
My doc prescribed me 70mg Vyvanse, to compare with my Adderall dose previously prescribed. When feeling the effects of Vyvanse it is truly a saving grace and I really feel "limitless". I think clear, I don't feel over stimulated or the out of body experience like other ADHD drugs. I'm in an industry that I must utilize critical problem solving skills, think extremely creative and relay high end technical knowledge to CIO's and executives on a daily basis.

I was on Lexapro for 2 years for anxiety (no ADD yet diagnosed) and I felt better, but gained 30 pounds. Also the Dose of V should be 30mg compared to 10mgs of adderall XR to be somewhat equal.

When I desolve the tablet in a glass of water, and then drink the water the Dextroamphetamine will start to work much faster, and 2-3 times stronger also my pupils will dilate for a while..But when I just take the tablet orally without desolving it into water, it will work but not so strong and also my pupils dont dilate....Does someone know an answer to this?
Very individual. May take up to one hour to be effective. Usually lasts6–8 hours. In some individuals it may be effective all day. In others it may last only four hours. Most will take twice a day, six hour intervals
Excellent safety record. May be the best drug for some individuals: longer acting, smooth course of action. May avoid lunch time dose at school.
Slow onset of action. May require a short–acting medication at the start of the day.

I agree. Isn't adderall for ADD or ADHD? It's suppose to have a calming effect for those who need to concentrate. I've never heard of someone being prescibed adderall for energy. I'd personally stay clear of that 1. Good luck and let us know.
