Avatar m tn I read your interchange on the HIV Prevention Community site and agree with the advice that you have received there. When properly used throughout an exposure, latex condoms provide very reliable protection against HIV and other STDs. You do not need to worry about this exposure as described and do not need testing. While we do not comment on different brands of condoms on this site, virtually all condoms are similarly effective and can be relied upon.
Avatar m tn But I think I may have body fluid interchange with that lady. I mean her secretion may enter my wounds. Have you seen the picture? Pls take a look. http://tuokong.net/data/attachment/forum/201402/18/121240ee7viwhhp6f2qzd2.
Avatar m tn Thanks, I was thinking a bunch of basics to interchange might work. Dress pants are a must but how many?
Avatar n tn The ring at the bottom prevents an interchange. There is no "lessens the likelihood" factor since there is zero risk. The condom did not break, so you had zero risk and should move on.
Avatar n tn If it is an initial presentation, the pain would be more of a diffused type, and not localized to the wrist. Patients would sometimes interchange body pains and fatigue (which is a more common manifestation of leukemia). The cause of your wrist pain can be musculoskeletal pain syndrome or rheumatism. Cough and colds can be caused by an infection (viral, bacterial), or an allergy. It would be best to seek consult with your doctor for further evaluation. Good luck.
Avatar m tn Hi all, I have been suffering from nausea since mid July this year and the nausea problem just got worse in recent days. In 2013, I had an episode of unexplained nausea. One doctor thought the cause was anxiety and prescribed me seritonin. The nausea disappeared for about a year but has come back this July. I have very severe gag reflex and so I am terribly terrified of doing a stomach endoscopy. Another doctor suggested a barium meal test which was done in September and came back normal.
Avatar f tn It is not low risk, it is no risk. It is not correct to interchange the words low and no as if they were the same thing. You had no risk so testing would be a waste of time. The test taken by qin54 will not find HIV because it is impossible for HIV to be transmitted. You didn't do any of the ONLY 3 risks below. HIV is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities.
328799 tn?1276565732 Now, I think that the large part of the population can probably interchange manufacturers without noticing any significant changes, but for some people, it becomes a problem. I remember Ryan reporting something like this with Klonopin, however, it may have been generic vs brand name where he had a problem, I can't recall. Anyway, k..you should be perfectly fine.

Avatar m tn In preparing to address your questions I reviewed your earlier posts. I note that after our past interchange you continued to ask questions about HSV of Teri on the HSV site and received answers in agreement with the advice I provided. Now, you are asking questions about HIV which are asked in an abstract way. Are these theoretical concerns or specific. In your evaluations for HSV, haven't you also been tested for HIV. I would have thought so.
Avatar n tn Welcome to our Forum. As you may remember from our earlier interchange, condom protected sex, as long as the condom is worn throughout the encounter, is safe sex with no appreciable risk for any STI. On the other hand, persons who visit Mexico commonly get gastrointestinal maladies including nausea, vomiting and most commonly diarrhea. I anticipate that your current problems are not due to your sexual encounter but something that you ate or drank while in Mexico.
Avatar f tn Try to avoid overally acidic foods (oranges, grapefruit, etc) and eat small/frequent meals. I also have issues with ulcers (I have a lot of stomach issues) and have to follow a strict diet and eat at certain times. You can ask your doctor if you're able to take antacids too which can help the issues.
599170 tn?1300973893 A great example is a McDonalds as a freeway interchange. You might have never been to that interchange before but you know where you can get predictable food. The best food? Probably not, and you could wander around looking for the best place but chances are you'll stick with the place that you know.
Avatar f tn Try hand expressing for some relief.
Avatar m tn In preparing to answer this question I reviewed our earlier interchange and find myself wondering about your fears of HIV. HIV is transmitted in adults only through unprotected, penetrative sexual contact or through injection of infected material DEEP into tissue. Consider the circumstances you are suggesting- that this person, in her practice of dentistry would unknowingly get patient blood onto her hair. This is simply not realistic.
Avatar f tn who might be having this problem as well.
Avatar f tn Hi every body, I had a low risk exposure, I kissed a prostitute like five times and we interchange saliva (I hope that she had not gum diseases or anything else) cause I had a little. I know that there had been like two cases that probably was causes because of a french, deep or wet kiss. My real question is where can I find studies or researches that validate that kissing is not a risk of being infected with HIV (or other disease) or is just because is so rare?
Avatar m tn as you know, Dr. Handsfield and I share the forum. You got me as is appropriate given our interchange earlier this month and my resulting familiarity with your situation. FYI, the reason we share the forum is because we have worked together for nearly 30 years and while our verbiage styles vary, we have never disagreed on management strategies or advice to clients.
Avatar m tn Welcome to our Forum. I read your interchange on the Community site an agree with all that has been said. The exposure was no risk whatsoever. There is no reason for testing. Let me elaborate. 1. Why would you think this woman had HIV. Very few do. 2. HIV is not spread by transfer of genital secretions on a person's hands or fingers to another person. There are no credible instances of heterosexual transmission occurring in this way. 3.
Avatar m tn Welcome back to the Forum. I agree, it does appear that your fears of STDs may be getting the best of you. I hope my comments will be helpful in moving you forward. There is a theoretical risk of some STDs being acquired on or from the hand when an infected surface comes in contact with an uninfected surface.
Avatar m tn I was taking doxiciline and rifampicine, vitamins and minerals, amoxiciline, Dexlansoprazole and Ceftrioxone between this situations, also test positive 1:40 for brucella and 1:160 for anti-nuclear antibodies and negative in other lab. HELP PLEASE.
Avatar m tn sub is the route to take. Take the sub to the 2nd interchange switch subs and go to the end. Just don't do drugs! It is an OK addiction,no?
Avatar m tn Also you need to distinguish between low risk and no risk, and not interchange the words as if they were the same thing.
