PRISTIQ is an extended-release tablet for oral administration that contains desvenlafaxine succinate, a structurally novel SNRI for the treatment of MDD.
Pristiq is an SNRI while Wellbutrin is not. Abilify is not in either class, it is totally different.
Following the operation, the doctor said she had a complication called corneal melting. He treated her with steroids for more or less a month. Another doctor said she had central toxic keratopathy. After almost 5 months, her vision is still very poor and extremely blurry. At the last visit, 2 days ago, the doctor said her corneas are very irregular (irregular scarring) and she has opacity on both eyes.
In a word "Yes". The bigger question is: can you remember to take it twice a day...at the proper time? If so, then you can ask your doctor for the chance to try it.
Can I take Metoprolol Succinate and Indole 3 Carbinol without any drug interactions?
I have been taking Metoprolol Succinate for tachycardia for a few years now and have gained weight I was watching the Dr. Oz show and he recommended takig Indole 3 Carbinol for people who carry more weight on the bottom half of their body. It just being vegetables wouldnt seem to effect anything, but I'm juat asking to be on the safe side. I have tried doing my own research but I have not found anything.
My doctor prescribed me trazodone hydrochloride for anxiety, sumatriptan succinate for migraines, zopiclone for sleep, I've been told I can take the trazodone with zopiclone, but I have the new sumatriptan tablets, it says in the medical pamphlet that it is an MAO-A inhibitor and can't be taken with antidepressants/anxiety tablets.
Would it be ok to take both the trazodone hydrochloride and the sumatriptin succinate together?

s gotten to the point where I get headaches because of the sleep deprivation. Sleeping with a pillow between my legs hasn't helped and I can't take benadryl. Any recommendations? I really need some sleep!!!
I finally was able to get some. "Nature's Bounty" "Stress Relief"... Walmart groceries delivery... 300mg extract says = 1200 mgs root... tried over week each night... 1, 2, 3, 4 pills ... no sleep help realized... saw other similar products claiming adding black pepper increases absorption 20 x's so added 1/4 teaspoon that in warm milk... still no sleep help... my melatonin has worked for many yrs... but ofcourse i've needed more and more of it...
I take the toprol xl and I use the generic and it cost me roughly $20 and I take 125mg twice a day. but you must make sure it is the generic for toprol xl because there is metoprolol succinate which is the generic for toprol xl and metoprolol tartrate which is the generic for lopressor. They both work in two different ways so they can not be interchanged at the same dose. I asked this question before toprol xl became a generic.
My docror reduced my Diovan to 40 mg and gave me Metoprolol Succinate 25 mg because he said my resting heart rate was in the upper 80's. I started having strange feelings while sleeping, like my heart or stomach was shivering and I used to wake up at night after a few hours of sleep because of this feeling. I was still feeling dizzy and I wanted to stop the Diovan or the Metoprolol Succinate. My cardiologist said I should continue the Metoprolol succ and I can stop the Diovan.
In an attempt to avoid an ablation for SVTs & going to the Emergency Department lately once a month to get converted with IV medication, (I'm older with co-morbidities, there's a pandemic, & really, my ElectroPhysiologist doesn't have a lot of experience doing ablations), my EP & I are trying different medications. I'm increasing metoprolol succinate (the extended release one) from 25 mg to 37.5 mg.
Desvenlafaxine, (Pristiq) like any of the psychotropic meds, has a great number of possible side effects, but a delay in menstrual cycles is NOT listed in the PDR.
If there is no possibility you may be pregnant, the delay in your period is no doubt due to stress relative to the depression.
Since you have only been on desvenalafaxine for one week, I'm assuming your prescribing doctor wants you back for a follow up in a few weeks time.
Im to the point where im so exhausted during the day I can bearly function. Im grumpy and moody as **** when im normally a very happy person. I just want to sleep through the night! Help! Any advice or tricks that you dont normally hear?
I have been with the same manufacturer of metoprolol succinate for 2 years and had no problems and now they went out of business and the new manufacturer of the same medication isn't working for me!
But I developed a very embarrassing facial blushing problem which was helped by taking beta blockers (metoprolol succinate). Finally, around October 2010, my levels began to go hypo (TSH=13.8). So he put me on 25 mg levothyroxine and 50 mg metoprolol succinate.
I will get my blood checked tomorrow but I bet it will show hypo. I think he will up my dose to 50 mg synthroid which will be good because I'm suffering from constipation and sluggishness and other hypo problems.
5 year ago and had very short period (2 days) of AF post-surgery. I have been taking Metoprolol Succinate 47.5mg/day for 8 months as long term essential medication for HCM. My daily pulse is around 45-55 bpm and occasionally feel lightheadedness. I recently had one FAINT when I rested at a sofa. It lasted for about 5 seconds. My pulse was 50 immediately after recovery.
Try taking unisom at night the one with Doxylamine succinate in it. It's safe to take and does wonders for nausea and vomiting!
I had an episode of svt in June. Given adenosine to stop it. Then prescribed Toprol XL to keep heart rate low. It seems that I have pacs every day. Yesterday it was constant for about 9 hours. About one per minute. My chest feels like it is quaking, makes me fearfull, nauseous, generally weak. Saw cardiologist yesterday, we both wonder if Toprol is making situation worse. It's never been this constant before. I have another appointment in a month.
Please could you tell me if using OTC Unisom (12mgs Doxylamine Succinate) to help sleep (have severe insomnia for decades now) - could this lead to the severe hyper acidity I have? I take Nexium 40mg's twice a day, sometimes even three but it does not seem to help. Gastro-scope showed no signs of an ulcer just a very severe inflammation.
Family Dr says Unisom or other anti-histamines cannot cause gastric problems. I read differently on the internet and am very confused now.
I didn't read anything of high concern to point to stds.
Hello everyone, I've had palpitations for the last month usually triggered by a change in position, I've had them in the past, I took fleccainide for them and the palpitations subsided. Eventually I weaned off of the drug. Had no palpitations for a solid 6-7 months then they came back. I didn't want to start taking the fleccainide again because I read nasty things about and I'm only 21 years old so I didn't think I should take it.
