Avatar n tn Took for 1week 5mg desloratadine after my ivf. transfer. Started the antihistamine day 6 after embryo transfer without thinking or consulting the dr.(i always took it during pregnancy and thought its safe but never at such an early stage of pregnancy). Tested positive BHCG day8 after transfer +hcg22 day11+hcg53 day16 hcg56 day18 dropped hcg36. I then changed to betametasone 0.6mg + desloratadine, 2 per day for three days then 1 per day for 3 days, which made the itching go away about the third day but came back soon after the fifth day while taking it. I went to see my allergist. I have rhinitis and once (8 years ago) I had acute urticaria that solved with an injection of corticosteroids.
Avatar m tn You can find easily an over the counter over-the counter antihistamines (e.g., loratadine, desloratadine, cetirizine, fexofenadine) which can be used to help with symptoms. You may also use over the counter smoothening, antipruritic agents to get relief. Also use mild soaps and calamine lotion which helps in soothing the skin. If the symptoms persist then you may need topical steroids.

Avatar f tn Hello, i am 34 years old, Male, (Never Married), (Never Smoke), (Never Drink) - i am having this severe cough problem since 2010/2011, every year i caught up by this severe cough sometime seasonal allergies (September to March) And sometime non-seasonal, at the start, from 2010 to 2015 i did not notice about it and i never went to any doctor to treat it, i thought it was a normal cough and when ever the cough caught me , it went away by its own, after 2/3/4 months of severe DRY cough.
Avatar m tn most do still do not use that range. The reference range the lab uses really has nothing to do with the test result. The result is the amount of TSH in your blood, the reference range is simply the range THAT lab uses to determine if your result is "normal" or not. Reference ranges are usually determined by the method the lab uses to analyze a certain parameter - in this case TSH,.
