My neurologist just gave me some samples of Amrix, a time relased form of Cyclobenzaprine Hydrocholoride. He prescribed it for the pain and limited range of motion caused by tight neck muscles that didn't respond to stretching excersises. This is day two and I find it a remarkable improvement. I take it once a day in the evening and it seems the main sleepiness side effect is over while I sleep while the benefits remain the next day.

In a pharmacokinetic study of sixteen subjects with hepatic impairment (15 mild, 1 moderate per Child-Pugh score), both AUC and Cmax were approximately double the values seen in the healthy control group. Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward.
55am, I forgot I took the celexa and I took Cyclobenzaprine. Do you think is something I should be worry? I looked online about the drug interaction and they say could be deadly. I am very worry. Any advice of what I can do? Do I gonna be okay? How long apart I can take those two medications?
Hi. I am wanting to quit taking Cyclobenzaprine. I took 20mg a day off and on, like twice a week for 2 years, and then started taking the 20 mg every day for the last 13 years. I plan to wean off, and am wondering what to expect as of withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of a natural med I could take in it's place?
There is a form of glaucoma (normal tension glaucoma) that sometimes fools doctors into thinking the glaucoma is under control or not present as the eye pressure seems OK but the vision might still deteriorate. If ever in doubt, you could always get a second opinion with another glaucoma specialist to make sure everything is being done correctly.
You are right, certain medications particularly muscle relaxants and antichlinergics, interfere with the results of EMG like baclofen and flexeril or cyclobenzaprine that you are taking. It would be prudent to apprise your neurologist of all the medications you are on, so that the EMG results are appreciated in that light. Muscle biopsy can be taken up after an EMG. I was developing glaucoma (early stages) from steroids. I stopped the steroids and the condition resolved itself. Stop the steroids if you can. I was using Advair for COPD. There were many bad side effects. But I found that I actually got better results using natural remedies. No side effects. If COPD is your problem look to natural alternatives.
It seems that glaucoma is listed as a possible side effect for just about every prescription medication these days. I am taking Remeron (mirtazapine, for anxiety and insomnia) and, of course, glaucoma is listed. How big a threat is this? Do I stop taking the pills? I don't have glaucoma and last check-up had healthy optic nerves, although moderate cupping. it's not listed as a common side effect, but it is mentioned.

The eye with the lens replacement is the one that took a big drop on the OCT and I was concerned that the test was not done well as they had difficulty scanning that eye. I have adjusted to my crisp vision in the IOL eye but was researching IOLs and see several references to Glistening the type of material that the sn60wf is made of.

Two days later, I began to lose hearing in my right ear. It felt as though it was "full" of water or wax or the like. I visited a different clinic (as I was in another city) and they prescribed me a steroid and informed me that my eardrum had filled with fluid.
