Common Questions and Answers about Concentra urgent care

Avatar m tn Hi, I am a 28 y/o male. I am sure someone has already asked this type of question here before but I had recently performed some acts of sexual relation I am now concerned about. I hired an escort to hang out and we ended up having PROTECTED oral sex and PROTECTED intercourse. Then a week later I hired another escort to hang out and she performed PROTECTED oral on me in which the condom SLIPPED off about half way throughout the act. The condom came up to just under the head of my penis.
Avatar m tn Thanks for you response sherry. I have talked to many people and they say the same thing. Its just that it seems the doctor doesn't wan to hear what i have to say. Concentra is a urgent care fac. that works with workers compensation and all. Everyone says that they are a bunch of quacks that can't get a real hospital job. I will see tomorrow though.
758493 tn?1271611163 He is not old enough or weigh enough yet to take Concentra. He takes Focalin XR right now. But my doctor has recommended this as soon as he gains more weight and I believe he can take this when he turns 8. I have heard good things about Concentra from other people that I know. Their kids are 8 and 11. I didn't want to consider medicating my child either. But as my son became worse, I felt I had to give it a try, but for his sake as well as the rest of my family.
Avatar n tn Also, I tried to get PEP drugs (Truvada and Isentress) at a local urgent care clinic. The doctor there refused to do so because he claims these drugs could damage liver and must be used within 5 hours to be effective. Can one 30 day treatment damage liver? He claimed I would need a whole bunch of lab work for him to even consider giving me prescription (check my liver and STD status, which he claimed are required by his company, Concentra). Does this make sense?
Avatar m tn There is an urgent care expert forum, here is a link: http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn A good home remedy for itching is that old-fashioned original style Listerine, the stinky kind. You put it on a cotton ball and rub the itchy spots. It's got great natural stuff in it like eucalyptus, and alcohol to keep you from getting bacteria in where you scratch. Regarding itchiness in pregnancy, it is pretty common. A friend was on meds for morning sickness, and turned out, they made her itch. But I know it happens naturally too.

Avatar f tn I woke up with horrible pain in my bladder/uterus area I have no idea what it is. I'm not bleeding and I have no signs of anything serious being wrong, it just hurts so badly I can't move :'( ugh.
Avatar f tn I went to urgent care three weeks ago. I have oral herpes for 11 years and had initial outbreak. I went to urgent care for feeling sick and dizzy. The physician uses the same gloves she out inside my mouth with a tongue blade to touch my forehead and neck. I wear glasses. Is it possible she spread herpes to my eyes? Then I had a reddish itchy area right eyelid and had developed a migraine following week and the red area went away and then cried and had swollen eyelids both eyes.
1827123 tn?1383865276 Thought about going to urgent care, but if its CM, is it maybe better to go to emergency-even though it doesnt feel like an emergency? Any thoughts out there?
Avatar f tn So I took a trip to urgent care last night because I was having some spotting and started having some pain on my right side so I was thinking either a cyst or ectopic. The PA sent me for an ultra sound and the baby is showing about 6 weeks, but my HCG level is around 8759 which is between 4-5 weeks..... The baby's heart rate is 109BPM's and the ultrasound tech said that is normal for a 6 week baby. My question is this....Is that a normal heart rate for a 6 week baby?
Avatar f tn t know what I can or cannot take. Should I go to urgent care tommarow . I just want to get over this stupid cold Is this safe for my baby?
Avatar n tn Doctor just came in, he said baby is fine thank god.i just have to take care of myself. But he did say it was a warming of a miscarriage but I have to take care of myself..
Avatar n tn Greetings. I hope you will have an enjoyable visit despite having this flare of symptoms. Could it just be the crazy hot weather we have been having affected your MS? I see you are up in Michigan? Please do not let the horror tales of our US medical system scare you from treatment - if you don't think the ER is appropriate, one of the urgent care medical facilities should also be able to help you. You do want to get on top of this if that is possible, before you get worse.
Avatar f tn So I have not been feeling good for awhile now and I have no idea what is going on. I have been to doctors and a visit to urgent care, but they kind of dismiss me. They look at me and say that I am fine. They run CT scans and basic blood work, which they say are all normal. Even after the doctors visits or urgent care visits, I still don’t feel well. I listed the symptoms below. I am not sure if I should give Urgent Care one more try. I am really just tired of doctors dismissing me.
20882836 tn?1563657080 d be nervous about a nurse cutting on the bump if it is right on a ceratoid artery. Urgent care is helpful in acute situations but not often the best solution for ongoing care. Do you have a regular doctor? I would schedule an appointment to be seen as soon as you can with them. And if they took a sample of what they found when they cut into the bump, hopefully the urgent care sent that to pathology.
20575487 tn?1501062464 Please view my profile pic. My ankle suddenly started swelling. I'm in pain, can't walk, can't put pressure on foot. Went to a urgent care and they don't know. As far as I know I didn't do anything to it. A week prior I had horrible unexplained hip pain on same side.
615350 tn?1272598969 That jerk canceled again on me today after I waited in the lobby for an hour. I stormed out of that place and went to the nearest urgent care. He did a strep test and it was positive. I used to get strep all of the time when I was a kid but this is the first I have got since I was like 10. It has been pretty mild , but I cannot sleep because my heart is palpitating really bad. I do have heart palpitation anyways, but they have been really bad today.
Avatar m tn Like a fool I let it get to this point before I researched the few at-home remedies for it but I want to show you guys so you can suggest whether I try one of these at-home methods or if I should just head to urgent care first thing in the morning. Here is the link to a pic I took just now. It's not too pretty: http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r241/offsafetyglock/CIMG1300.jpg Thanx in advance.
Avatar f tn my periods are not erratic and neither have i had sex so the pregnancy aspect can be ruled out. i had my first period about eight years ago and this is the first time this has occured. the blood flow lasted 18 days.
Avatar f tn Bleeding for a month is not normal hon. What about urgent care? You can pay a flat rate--- and they often have scaled cost for uninsured. Or a clinic? Doesn't really make sense that iron tabs would cause you to bleed more. Can you call THAT doctor for guidance?

Avatar f tn Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar n tn Hello! I am an MD and work at a very busy Urgent Care. I was trained in Family Medicine and have some questions for my ENT specialist friends- 1. Any recommended reference for PCPs to quickly look up standard treatment and f/u for ENT conditions? 2. What do you recommend for treatment with otalgia a/w effusion? Also, any necessary f/u or eval by ENT needed? 3. For AOM are you okay with amox 500mg bid or do you prefer tid? Do you add steroids, and if so how much? 4.
