She gave us a layette list, and we bought a book from Consumer Reports about baby things, and the Girlfriend's Guide book about baby things. We then looked over the list from Babies R Us and check marked some things and crossed out others, and then went back to the store and developed our registry.

But your test might be just as accurate -- have you looked up consumer reports on the lab you used? If you are satisfied with their reputation, I am not sure why you would think the test is wrong besides just nerves.

I need advice for colon cleanse. Is colon cleanse necessary? i have good bowel function, regular BM's and generally good health and balanced diet. My question is should i do colon cleanse? At the moment i take Aloe Vera juice for colon cleanse. I need an advice.

I used Super Colon Cleanse tablets by Health Plus Inc. It is sold on Amazon, but I got mine at GNC. The bottle says to take 4 tablets twice daily for 10 days. I did not notice any blood today.

I think it's important for your mom to know how healthy her liver is before attempting any cleanses. I've tried a colon cleanse with no problems in the past, but liver cleanses tend to be less gentle...and if her liver is challenged, she may more run into problems. My personal opinion is to stay away from any product that has a long list of ingredients unless you have the time to look up each one. In the case of liver health, more is NOT better.

This cleanse is meant to be used as a juice fast and laxative-based colon detox. You want to use it differently. I have no idea if this works if you do it the way they suggest, though I can almost guarantee the cleanse has nothing to do with weight loss -- if you stop eating of course you'll lose weight. When you start eating again, unless you change your diet, you'll gain the weight back. Using laxatives can be helpful in a short-term fast, but they can also be tricky.

If you would like to do some gentle cleanses, I would suggest going to your local health food store and looking for the Renew Life cleanses. They will walk you through the steps of which ones to do first. They are nice and gentle. Then I would suggest the big guns like Dr Natura....it is a colon and parasite cleanse. I was told by a health care professional that I should use a cheaper alternative (~6 cents a day) that was recently recommended by Consumer Reports and is available at CostCo and Sams Club. Are all omega supplement truly alike? The problem with using products that do a colon cleanse is that they are filled with laxatives, yes most of them have natural elements, but laxatives none the less. This actually causes more problems to your colon over a period of time. I swore by a colon cleanse product prior to my colonoscopy it was the ONLY thing that made me regular.

Colon cleanse is not an enema. It's laxatives you take or drink very simular to what you took before your colonoscopy. They cleaned your colon out before they put the snake camera up your colon. LOL I don't think theres a lot of medical benefit to cleaning the colon unless you have constipation problems. Too much info right?

After doing a colon cleanse I developed back pain it's more like a frying feeling right where the sigmoid colon is located. i am starting or have started a month long one through a supplement that i take 2 in the morning for the full body cleanse and than two supps for the colon cleanse at night time. i am wondering if someone can tell me how does one know if its working(aside from using the BR alot) and two how they felt during it?
