I want to know how important is curettage when trying to get rid of a chalazion. The reason im asking is because where I live (Mexico) doctors are charging me $700 dollars to get rid of 2 chalazions... i dont want to spend that much to remove them.... i think its excessive what they are trying to charge me, and i was thinking about poping them with a needle and applying a week of antibiotics or something...

Omggg so I've been watching live birth videos and I can officially say I have traumatized myself lol I am now afraid of giving birth! :/ I thought maybe watching them to educate myself a little would keep me at ease but oohhhh lord please help me lol. Buy a snow suit as well if u live in a cold area i live in mn so i godda get the kiddo one yet due in the beginning of January so its going to be very cold here

ve had post-nasal drip, one cold with a cough that lasted about 8 weeks and now a constant tickling sensation in my chest, under and on either side of the breast bone. I also sometimes feel a tightness in my chest, not pressure or pain but discomfort, hard to explain. The post--nasal drip is constant and annoying as well as the ticklish feeling. I went to one doctor and he thinks allergies but I don't know-what could I be allergic to in the middle of the desert?

I live in wisconin where its absoloutley horrendously chilly at night and i only sleep in my panties and a spagehtti strap tank top.

for the past 5 months on and off i have suffered from dry sores on the corners of my mouth after a while using cold sore lip cream it goes but then soon returns, its not contagious and not very painful but itchy and easy spreads and splits when i yawn !

Sorry. I go where I want to make every season of the year perfect for me, so not a fair question ! Usually I like Costa Rica this time of year. Our lake house is too cold now, & we prefer to ski in Spring. I'll go there in April. The high desert is always nice, but my husband likes to live at the beach, in July & August & Sept. The ocean water is cool, but we usually swim in the pool. If one place is dreary. I go somewhere where I like it.

Lately, I've been drinking down bottles of water like I live in the desert. There's even been times where it's 2 bottles a day. I'm not complaining in the slightest because I know there's nothing more healthy for me & the baby, but does this mean anything? What I think it could be, is dehydration. I just find myself craving the taste of the coldness & just water, period. Anyone else going through this?

My Husband made yellow rice beans and baked a roast. and for desert he made a vanilla ice cream mango .

t noticed any worsening of my optic neuritis and numbness on hot days or after exercise or hot showers, but I have had some noticeable reactions to cold e.g. worsening numbness on cold nights (but not cold/circulation numbness!) Has anyone else had this experience?

Thanks Amanda. Some days are worse than others. But falling barometers send me into a tail spin. Maybe I should move to the desert! We do have desert areas here in Texas. But to watch Hollywood's portrayal of Texas would make you think the entire state is a desert!! Could not be further from the truth! I'll put our Hill country up against any area of the country. It is absolutely beautiful.

Have your child go and play outdoors, run, walk, and dance. Limit time in front of the TV or non-active-video games. There have been studies showing the longer the length of time a child sit in front of the TV, the greater the weight gain. I suggest you do limit high sugar drinks/snacks and replace with low fat milk/yogurt or fruit/vegetables/popcorn. High sugar drink and snacks do not give the child nutrients they need.

Omg today was the worse day every I was so hot I had to put the a/c on and it was 70 degress.. Im in the desert, but it felt like I was in a boiler room smdh. I finally cooled off but has anyone else experienced these hot flashes. I wish I could stop eating too. I tried the pregnancy diet and it isnt working :-( Any suggestions ?

I also had chills, extremely bad. I live in the desert where it would get to 120, and still had to wear a heavy sweater or coat. This past winter was pure hell but now, after completing treatment, no more chills. The cool air feels rather nice. Itching was not something I felt, at least not from the meds. if we had passports we would be going somewhere international....but we dont so we are screwed! his mother lost his birth certificate so we are in the process of getting him a new one... which isnt an easy task!....
