hi all i have do two hart valve replacement when i was 18 , i was fine now and now i am 35 , in 2013 i checked my EF it was 44% so it still ok for someone with my condition in 2015 i check it agin and it is now 28% , my doctor give my Co-Diovan half pill every day , and ask to check after 6 month but he didn't look good when talking to me. now i am very stressed , i have 3 kids and i want to improve my EF can any one let me know what i can do ? appreciate anyone input.

I was slowly weened off Toprol xl and Diovan - about 8 months ago - and put on ccb -verapamil and dieretic maxzide iv been on them for about 4 months - and have been having problems, such as ankles swelling. and closeing throat when eatting! as well bloating belly conditions. over the past month iv noticed my face is always red in color. and my left eye has been twitching off and on.. I seem to dehydrate rapid and cant hydrate fast enough - even when I cutt down on the dieretic med.

I have had an heart failure due to high chotesterol so I am on medication for Hipertension/ High Cholesterol. I recent weeks after I start using Co-Diovan 160/12.5 mg in place of Hyzar I am experiencing a gradual tightening in the upper chest toward the neck/throat and it is as if i may stop breathing? I am not sure if the change in medication has anything to do with it! I use to to exercise for about 30 min. or more each day, I can do only 2-3 mins. and with great difficulty?

I use genteal and the bottle seemed stopped up. I took the bottle tip off and found " muck" stuff growing in the bottle like in a bottle of water that's been setting out for several months. The tip had a long string like thing in it. I pulled it out and will go back to the pharmacy to tell them. It needs to be reported as contaminated. I am on 2 meds for b.p toprol xl and diovan - im getting a loud ringing in my left ear on and off.. and at night I get a loud high pitched buzzing sound both ears ! it goes away with loud or normal sounds in the room or where im at.. but comes back when sitting alone reading or online. really bothers me ! I tryed a natural med called ring stop! and it works ok but fades out after 4hours or so.. so have to keep taking it.

my dad had a triple bypass last apr 21. last saturday, jul 4/2009 he started on diovan 160/12.5 (from corvesy+) and since Sat he's been experiencing chest pains that is not going away. is this a side effect? is he allergic to the this new med he's taking or is this angina? should he get himself to an ER?

According to http://www.merck.com/mmpe/lexicomp/carbamazepine.html, one of the "Adverse Reactions" is "Hepatic: Abnormal liver function tests, hepatic failure, hepatitis, jaundice".

I am also taking diovan 80.12.5 once a day. I would like to get off this medication as it is making me very sluggish and tired all the time. How do I wean off this medicine as I am only taking it for one month.

I'm a 64 yrs. old woman who used to take Diovan 320 mg. & Toprol 50 mg. for my B.P. My B.P. readings was okay but my Doctor discontinued the Toprol because my heart rate usually on the 40's. I am currently taking Norvasc 5mg. with the Diovan 320 mg. So far, my B.P. readings is very good, 110/70. But eversince I started the Norvasc, my left leg is swelling and it is becoming worst. I'd like to ask my Doctor to discontinue the Norvasc.

I have tingles,numness on extremities throught the night since 5 days after innoculation. During the day I have had it change from the hot sensations-alomost gone. To numbness in pinky finger,left foot for 2 weeks to right foot most recently for 2 weeks. Hope there will be an end soon to this madness.
