Avatar m tn I am still having night sweats BADLY. My dr put me on Climara Pro. I am concerned about the stroke and dementia risks that it lists. I have been on it for a week and its helping me, although I am very bloated which does not work well for a recovering eating disorder/alcoholic, (just saying). Is it too dangerous for me because of my blood flow. Will the bloating subside? I have stopped eating mostly again, but I am more worried about the blood?
Avatar f tn I wish there was an editing feature here... I meant you can find reviews of Pro-Gest along with other brands online at some of the drugstore/health food store websites!
1168718 tn?1464983535 Hi guys, just a question about HRT.............. anyone out there on it, and does it affect your MS drugs, and did it help?? I was prescribed Climara .05 in a patch once a week, and I'm scared to try it. I was just wondering if anyone out there has tried these drugs and what was your take on them. Any feedback would be appreciated.... Thxs..
Avatar f tn WebMD has a public reviews of drugs database and there are 564 reviews entered by (mostly) real patients.
Avatar n tn they will only cover a generic form of Climara (also a bioidentical patch, but made from.... um... yams, I think, where as Vivelle is from soy... or is it the other way around?). I may just pay the extra to stay on Vivelle, I love it so much. My doc is great about giving samples to me as a supplement to what I already take (nice if I lose a patch, in particular). I don't know much about the generic Climara (bigger patch...
Avatar f tn "Overlapping" may help. When you put on the new patch, leave the old one on for a half or full day before removing. If that doesn't work, you could try switching to the weekly Climara patch and "overlap" it if you still have the migraine trigger. I used the patch for over a year and it didn't work well for me due to the fluctuations and not giving me enough estrogen. But it did not cause migraines but I was never one to suffer with those, thankfully.

1735424 tn?1357433558 I had some gastro pain a couple of weeks after vic was introduced (week 10), this resolved after a couple of weeks. HGB, Platelets, WBCs and ANC were all normal prior to tx and became quite low. Rescue drugs were necessary to keep going. I was in a trial and completed a 43 week tx 6 months ago. It was tough but ok as I pretty much expected. Good luck with your treatment, what week are you in?
Avatar m tn Why would one side hurt worse than the other. They also put me on a hormone patch called Climara. Has anyone taken this and is it good.
Avatar n tn ve heard that the Pro-B especially works wonders for women that have had recurring BV. The pro-B is supposed to be a probiotic that keeps good bacteria in the vagina and maintains vaginal health and the gel is supposed to regulate the pH to keep out infection and fungi. Can anyone attest to these claims? Has anyone with BV or even a situation similar to mine tried these products and had positive result? Within the past week, I began seeing an old flame and we ended up sleeping together.
709441 tn?1233340088 I use Vivelle Estradiol... climara is good, too. Newer research indicates that Estradiol (the kind of estrogen we had pumping through us in our 20's) is the only way to go. The book I mentioned a thousand times has been the most helpful to me. "Screaming to be Heard" by Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet is an amazing (and huge) book. Don't let it overwhelm you. You have to do the reseach on this stuff or it will get the better of you.
Avatar n tn one is slightly bigger than the other. could you suggest if you think any one would do pro bona on lifeting them as im only 20 and have lost all my confidence. i did have a look at nhs breast lifts but they dont even try and do minimal scarrign and as im only 20 i dont want alotof scars.
Avatar n tn are there any plastic surgeons that do pro-bono work. I am 48 had gastric bypass in 2004 told to keep the weight for 3 to 4 years and then have the reconstructive proceedures done. I was on active duty navy when the bypass was done and assured that tricare would pay, now I am being told that any proceedure has to be medically necessary for them to cover. I don't have the money to do this my self and looking for help and guidance.
740516 tn?1360942486 I will send you a couple sites that give a review on both Royal Canin and Pro Plan....they are pretty similar, HIGH in grain and carbs....lots of fillers in place of more meat. if the Pro Plan is cheaper for you....its no worse than Royal Canin and in some ways maybe better because at least the FIRST ingredient on the bag is real meat NOT chicken meal..... read the reviews....there are not many real good dry foods, but if at all possible find one that has NO grains...
