Hi everybody there, i have been diagonised with intrathoracic lymph nodes tuberculosis with no symptoms.The lypmhadenopathy was seen after flourography in 2009 i ran all tests for tuberculosis and were negative again this year the lymphadenopathy was still there, and the following tests came positive for tuberculosis : mantoux test & lung biopsy through bronchoscopy urine,blood & sputum came clean,still upto now no symptoms but i have started TB's treatment almost a month now.
His diagnosis was it is a type of tuberculosis that affects eyes.but his chest x ray came without any problems.Could you please explain to me what might be the problem.below I am sending the blood test result as attatchment.He is a 21 year old tall and slim guy.He some times get some skin rashes and other than that he doesn't have any health problems.should he start the tuberculosis treatment?
Today I was out with a friend. After that she told me that her family member is in hospital as he has tuberculosis. But I don't know what kind of tb it is. I am quite paranoid about this as afraid they as the family members stay together but they didn't test also. Is there any risk involved? She did cough once when I was standing in front of her.
About more than 13 years ,spine doctor started Tuberculosis treatment after seeing spine-lower part, but I did not started treatment, does this is normal that during this period TB has been settled or spread to other organs.

As fas as I know, nexium (esomeprazole) only interferes with biaxin (clarithromycin). It heightens the amount of esomeprazole by inhibiting the degradation of esomeprazole. I took 1500mg of Clarithromycin ER, and 1875mg of Amoxicillin that night. The following morning took another 1gm of the Niacin ER & 1375mg of Amoxicillin.

Will Clarithromycin help clear up any of the STD's that I might have caught during the act?
There is not too much info on Clarithromycin and STD's out there. I know one thing it is sure working on my respiratory infection big time.

He had some left over clarithromycin 500 mg about 10 days worth and he began taking that. I told him he should just get tested but he dosent have insurance currently and is unemployed. He said even if I have an std clarithromycin should clear it up its a very strong anti-bacterial antibiotic. Is this true?
prescribed the triple therapy which consists of Lanzoprazole 30 mg, Amoxicillin 500 mg and clarithromycin 500 mg. The problem is that she told me to take only one pill of amoxicillin (500mg) every 12 hours but it was supposed to be two pills (1g) according to FDA and other resources. I am very concerned because I know that this bacteria becomes resistant to antibiotics. What should I do?, How long do I wait before I take another test to see if the bacteria is gone or not?
About a month ago I was prescribed a course of Clarithromycin for a skin infection. Since taking the drug I've suffered huge surges of adrenaline, which kicks in like a lighting shot at the point of sleep. It kept me away many nights and I was beside myself with worry. It's now more than three weeks since I stopped the medication (I only completed 2.5 days out of 7) and I find that the adrenaline surges have subsided somewhat.
Is it common for a chest ray to be the main source of diagnosis for tuberculosis. In 2006 my husband was treated for tb because of this x ray only. Skin and Sputum test were negative. What is usually the reason for this. He tested negative for hiv, and I know that can be a reason some times. Other than the tuberculosis he had treatment and he fine.
i have done a test last week for Tuberculosis it shows positive and re do the same test at the same hospital after 5 days it says negative but still i have this this dry cough and fever i have no found any other sines of Tuberculosis from me ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
