clarinex tablets

Because I suffer from bad hayfever every summer I take hayfever tablets to calm it down because It really annoys me when I'm having to get my tissue out all the time, eyes itching, eyes watering and turning bloodshot and sneezing a lot. But the tablets have only calmed It down a bit, I have tried two types of tablets and the second ones seem to be better but not 100%.

Claritin and Clarinex (they work very differently) might help. Claritin makes me light headed for 30 minutes, raises blood pressure a little but wears off after a few hours. Clarinex works better for me, lasts 14 hours on me. Both are pretty weak for antihistamines. Other than this there is a couple more that use the same med as Claritin, so same effect pretty much. The other antihistamines usually cause drowsyness. Don't know of too many nasal sprays with out steroids.

I went to the doctor 8 months ago who said my ear drum was retracted and i was congested. He gave me some steroid spray for nose and some tablets for allergies as well as some antibiotics as my ear drum looked red. The meds made no difference. So here i am 8 months later tearing my hair out and racked with worry, anxiety and depression. I just want to feel normal again. Everydays a struggle and y life just feels wrecked by this problem :o( Thanks in advance, Shaun.

i finally saw a doctor today after a year of sinus and eustachian tube symptoms and off and on dizziness. mostly it was the spooky dizziness that made me want to see a doctor.

my mom has been experiencing this weird outbreak of hives all over her body, and when she has an outbreak it seems to cause severe joint pain,but not in the same joints it kinda travels around.she has been to an allergist but they put her on predisone and clarinex and zantec but as soon as the pred. is done the rash seems to rehash and the clarinex and othe meds seem not to help at all.

Her OB and PCP told her that taking her clarinex was OK. She is miserable without it and right now has a wicked cold. I have been reading now that clarinex is OK to take and other sites saying it is not OK. She is 21 weeks right now. Why would they say it is OK if it isn't? Thanks for any info.

In the meantime, i have switched allergy medication from Clarinex to Xyzal, which may also be helping a little. I now take the allergy medication before bed whereas before, I had been taking Clarinex in the mornings. I notice that the problem of too much mucus seems less prevalent in the mornings upon waking up. It worsens in the afternoon and evening, especially after meals. First is the cough from a problem in side or something you are breathing in? A good test I use is a HEPA filted mask. (the kind you can get in the hardware store with canisters). Wearing that for 5 minutes should clear up the mucus quite a bit if it is something you are breathing in. Easy test and takes only 5 minutes. Try a deep breath with the mask on after 5 minutes and see if you still feel like coughing.

i did go into a walkin clinic so thats how i got that diagnosis. i was prescribed a combination of nasonex and clarinex, then a round of allegra d. the first two meds seemed to help, but i wonder if it was possible a desperate kind of placebo effect. the allegra d sent me into panic attacks, which i assume was because the pseudoephedrine in it, so i stopped taking it and of course now my symptoms are back. any input? please?

My life has changed so much since 06 ive had two ops now to remove glands that were affected and my neck looks beautiful ha. I think i need to sort the right brand of tablets for me at the mo im on 150 levo which i feel is ok i only have mood swings when it is pmt time so my husband is very careful around me ha. Hope i can get some answers would be nice to here that someone is like me .

I use use Clarinex which helps a little. Tried Claritin and it did not do anything. Most nasal sprays help, a non steroid nasal spray such as NasalCrom might help too and is gentle with virtually no side effects. I found that allergy shots was the only thing that stopped it for me. I don't use nasal sprays anymore. My rynitis was really bad and clogging my air ways. Now it seems to be almost gone. I get a bit sticky but never more than clearing my throat kind of annoyance.

Try stopping current contact lens if you have them, try an oral antihistamine like Zyrtec, Claritin, or Clarinex, try an allergy drop like Patenol, Pataday, or Elestat, find out if you have allergies by seeing an allergist, then control any allergens that you are exposed to, see an ophthalmologist to be evaluated for possible oculare allergies, and also to be checked out for dry eyes. I take singulair, clarinex-d and lipo-flavonoid (for ringing in the ear) also the jelly or goo I am seeing happens almost everyday or every other day, every week is different.

Hi all I'm 6 weeks pregnant. Is anybody taking iron tablets. Is it a must. I am not enjoying taking these tablets at all.

I'm on exactly the same as you 3 times a day. Before taking them I felt so faint every time I stood up it was horrible :/ must of been due to low iron and low blood pressure. Not a nice time when you go to the toilet though!!!

My doctor advised me iron tablets, but none of the suits me, please advice solution.

Most cough and cold medications are actually okay to take with Warfarin, as long as they don't contain any steroid or non-steroidal antiinflammatory (like Advil or Motrin). These also thin the blood, and can be a problem when combined with Warfarin. For a cough, try something like guaifenesin, like Robitussin Severe Congestion Liquagels or Mucinex. Avoid dextramethorphan, like Robitussin DM.

my dermatologist prescribed me zincovit 30 tablets for some infections on my face (discoloration,acne marks) how much will it help me???

thanks for all your help, i am not taking the sleeping tablet anymore, i spoke with my sis in law she is a doc, she told me that i had only been on them a short time so there would be no withdrawels, i slept pretty bad last night but not as bad as i thought i would, i am more angry with the doc for putting me in the situation, i am a nurse but we dont use these tablets where i work,so i had no prior knowledge to them i stupidly assumed because the doctor was giving them to me and he never mentio
