citalopram online

I'm taking Citalopram 30mg.I recently read online that you should not exercise straight after taking the tablet as if you do so your body will burn in off as energy and thus the medication will not be effective. As I have an anxiety disorder, reading something like this can be very distressing to me. I'm aware there is alot of wrong information online. So I just want to know if there is any truth behind this claim. Or can I take my dose and jump straight on the treadmill with no worries?

I was just prescribed CITALOPRAM 10mg once a day for my anxiety. I am scared to take it due to the side effects and I think once I take it my partying days are over, but I really need it. This is my first time taking meds for anxiety. Is there anyone out there who has had success with this drug and what should I expect?

I was researching online about a week ago about people who have mental illnesses and schizophrenia. I was all so looking up the symptoms and reading stories about people who had it. No I think I’m hearing things I read a story about one girl who had a name stuck in her head. Now I have a name stuck in my head "Bob" and I keep thinking things like is bob hungry etc or I wonder what Bob is doing. The thoughts are completely irrational and I know they are.

s been on the methadone programme for the last two years. He was originally taking Fluoxetine (Prozac) But they changed him to Citalopram about 6 months ago. No worries taking it while on methadone.

I gained about 30 lbs on Citalopram. I work out and eat healthy. I just saw a new doctor and he believes the Citalopram is causing my weight gain. I have been on it for about 18 months. I am now taking half a pill of Citalopram in order to wean myself off of it. My doctor then prescribed me Bupropion HCL (take twice a day). He says that should help with weight loss. Has anyone had good experiences with Bupropion? Did you gain weight on Citalopram? Thanks!!!

well i dont know if i want to start again citalopram, the thing is that i read alot of articles online,which they are saying that new studies have shown that citalopram can cause heart problems and may affect the heartbeat negative!! soo i have my doubts about this drug!

Can I take L-Theanine with citalopram? I use to take L-Theanine and it use to help my anxiety a whole lot. My anxiety is really bad im on my second week of citalopram.

hi i suffer with really bad health anxiety,i was taking 10mg of citalopram when i was pregnant but i was increased to 20 a few months back as i didnt seem to be making progress,i was worse in some ways,since my increase i have noticed some improvements.

Hello, I am a 54 year old male with severe anxiety and am taking 40 mg of citalopram and lotrel for bp issues. I recently read that citalopram can cause long qt syndrome and since my anxiety issues are driven by my health, I am concerned. My resting heart rate is in the low 50's, I have no family history of long qt, but with my low heart rate I wonder if I should cease to use citalopram. My doctor does not feel this is a problem but I thought I should seek other opinions Thanks .

Hi guys - I 've been suffering from GAD for some time now and I've been taking citalopram for 2 weeks. I have dizzy spells during the day that come and go- I'm getting bit nervous cos of it- is this a normal side effect of the citalopram? Thanks !

but after huge waves of depression due to the lack of energy,fatiuge ect i was totaly exhasted so i started to take this new citalopram the doctor prescribed. I have been taking them for 4 weeks now and already am felling really good. Infact i cant belive the vast improvement. I have had no migranes,no brain fog, no dizziness am thinking on my feet my vocab has speeded back up and i can thin clearer than i have in the past 2 years.

If you been on the meds for a while then you are getting ill, chances are it's not the med. Have you been on other meds in this class before? Citalopram is a good drug and the side effects are pretty minimal for most. I would get a full check up to make sure you rule out bladder/kidneys infections. Anxiety can cause tummy troubles, I've had the trots from anxiety in the past, and I've had peed more from that as well.

I have never, persoanlly, taken citalopram, but there are plenty of folks here who have and hopefully they will respond with their experiences with this med. Most of us with an anxiety/panic disorder are "wary" of side effects. But bear in mind that we are all different and your son may not experience any, or if he does, he may find that they are bearable.

hi, I've been on citalopram for 5 weeks now for my anxiety. I upped the dosage from 20mg to 40mg a week ago but have just been feeling mind numb since. is it possible for the meds to take longer to start working?
