I just found out that I have a large parapelvic cyst 3.5 cm in my left kidney and I would like to know what kind of treatments there are for such. I'm now taking Ciprofloxacin HCL 500 mg 1 Tab twice a day.Can you tell me if I will need surgery or not. I take birth control, B complex supliments, 1200mg calcium, abd 1000IU D daily. In the past year I have been on two courses of CIPROFLOXACIN 500 MG ORAL TAB for UTI's and one course of Amoxicillin for Strep.
For about 6 months (since June 2010) I have been suffering from hypersomnia. I sleep around 10 hours a night, and wake up exhausted. I fall asleep any time I sit or lay still. I have fallen asleep in class, on the train, at work....all places that I don't want to sleep.
Post operative, I have orally taken prednisolone 30mg daily for 3 days, ciprofloxacin tablets 500mg twice a day for 5 days, Acetazolamide 1 tab twice a day for 5 days. After a week I was added Timolol eye drops followed by brimonidine tartrate. A check after 3 weeks showed Iris adherent to wound and for this have just started atropine eye drops after 3 weeks, twice a day. There is no redness the eye now and no pain. My question is around what needs to be done further.

I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides. I also have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen and very painful headaches. The doctor didn't seem to bothered about it or even check it over. They have prescribed me another 10 day course of ciprofloxacin.
In parallel, we did the semen analysis also at a Urology center. They have prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 14 days-2 dosage each day. At the moment I stopped taking thyroxine and taking only Cipro.
Our worry is whether the hypothyrodism is causing issue in low fertility and motility or the infection in semen (for suggesting to take Ciprofloxacin) the main problem now?
Is hypothyrodism resolved with the intake of Ciprofloxacin or are both different issues? Please clarify.
I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I wouldn't have exercised that much if I had known. The soreness has been getting steadily better.
The third day that I took .30mg of thyroid tab, I had a severe reaction. The top of my head felt like it was going to explode, Pressure behind my eyes, chills, heart racing and throat swelling. I was lucky I had prednisone to take or I would have ended up in the ER. I haven't went back to my Dr. yet because I am afraid to take any thyroid medication. This was a very scary experience.
By taking (ciprofloxacin or antibiotics) is there a possibility that can affect the sign & symptoms or ARS of hiv after 2 – 4 weeks exposure??

But the inflammatory continued, so at Week 4 was given 4 weeks of Ciprofloxacin 250 mg, Genurin tab 200 mg, and Volna-k tab 25 mg. All taken at twice a day.
Here is concern and the symptoms up to date:
At 4 weeks, I developed sore throat and a fever that lasted 1 days reaching 38 c. The glands swelled up and hurts pretty bad to swallow but no mucus or coughs. Week 4 to 7 (now) the sore throat is still here but less painful than before.

I did start the ciprofloxacin course (two tablets) before the urine testing. Would that interfere with the results?
