I don't know if I have Trich or not but I was wondering if taking Ciprofloxacin 500mg 2x daily would cure it?
It is sometimes very discomforting. Please advise me what could be the problem and a solution. Will be highly appreciative. Thank you.
Klebsiella pnenmoniae and Streptoccous agalactia were found present on my penile head. Then doctor prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500 mg tablets, 2 times daily for 7 days.
However the Ciprofloxacin could not work and the Balanitis still persists. I am still applying the “Uni-Mizole-HC” cream to stop the inflammation on my penile head.
May I ask you a few questions about my Balanitis,

I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides. I also have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen and very painful headaches. The doctor didn't seem to bothered about it or even check it over. They have prescribed me another 10 day course of ciprofloxacin.
However, the burning and redness only stopped when I was given antibiotics - ciprofloxacin - to treat possible prostate infection. Constant burning-prickly feeling on scrotum, redness. It caused MAJOR worry. I have had probes stuck up every orifice, full tests, and negative results every time. Tried many creams - no help, although some mild relief. Psychological? I find it hard to accept. Ask for a month of this antibiotic and see how you go.
I have been using antibiotics (polymyxin B, Gentamicin, dexamethasone) and steroid (prednisolone) eye drops and hypertonic saline 5% solution. Post operative, I have orally taken prednisolone 30mg daily for 3 days, ciprofloxacin tablets 500mg twice a day for 5 days, Acetazolamide 1 tab twice a day for 5 days. After a week I was added Timolol eye drops followed by brimonidine tartrate.
In parallel, we did the semen analysis also at a Urology center. They have prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 14 days-2 dosage each day. At the moment I stopped taking thyroxine and taking only Cipro.
Our worry is whether the hypothyrodism is causing issue in low fertility and motility or the infection in semen (for suggesting to take Ciprofloxacin) the main problem now?
Is hypothyrodism resolved with the intake of Ciprofloxacin or are both different issues? Please clarify.
I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I wouldn't have exercised that much if I had known. The soreness has been getting steadily better.
By taking (ciprofloxacin or antibiotics) is there a possibility that can affect the sign & symptoms or ARS of hiv after 2 – 4 weeks exposure??

After a few days taking CIPRO the swelling in my testicles started to reduce. Sex became pleasurable again. The urologist treated the enlarged prostate but wasn't interested in treating the swollen testicles .
Two years later if I have frequent sex my testicles swell.
