I don't know if I have Trich or not but I was wondering if taking Ciprofloxacin 500mg 2x daily would cure it?
The Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic that should be avoided at all risks. This is a very dangerous drug especially for people 60 and over. It should only be used when all other antibiotics have failed to work. The drug companies are not telling the doctors of the severe side effects of this medication, and doctors are handing it out like candy. Make sure your father doesn't take this or nay other antibiotic in this family.
Around two months back I had a partial vaginal sex with a sex worker in Mozambique. Partial because my condom was broken at the last moment & I immediately drag out & I washed my penis. 2-3 days later I have got some mild pain & itchy on the head of my penis but it was not so much painful but something uncomfortable. Few days later the uneasiness was gone.
I was given 4 250mg pills of azithromycin to take today and then told to follow up with Ciprofloxacin (500mg tabs twice daily) for 7 days. The concern is that 5 days after getting the unprotected oral from the "pro", I got the same from my wife (we haven't had any other intercourse since) My question is: could I have given my wife NGU when she gave me oral? If not NGU, some other form of infection? How serious could it be? What are the risks for her at this point.

It is difficult to say if they are due to the underlying disease or due to ciprofloxacin. You should consult your doctor for a complete evaluation and diagnosis.

I have been experiencing a red painless sore covered by white colored form on top of my penis for the last two weeks. I already consulted a dermatologist and have taken SPORANOX for first two days then have changed the medication to 'Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropoinate Cream', Tablets of 'Metronizazole 400mg 'and 'Ciprofloxacin 500'. Lab report also shows no symptom of Syphilis(VDRL is negative). I am really frustrated, any advice would be highly appreciated.
So I have anger problems and i threw a full bottle of ciprofloxacin at the wall and it broke and a bunch of crushed pills and dust flew all over the place. I noticed a bitter taste and very rough breathe as if i had inhaled some dust. I'm wondering, am I at any risk at all? I seem fine right now. But are there risks to inhaling this dust.

-July 29th 2010, recieved unprotected oral from a CSW and ejaculated in her mouth. very wet and sloppy exposure. No other incourse and she swears she was clean.
-July 31st, went to my dr and was given a 14 day dose of CIPRO for urinary tract infection dating back to may.
-August 2nd recieved urine test for chlamydia and ghonnorea, negative.
After I explained my symptoms he gave me one dose of 1000 mg Azithromycin and 500 mg Ciprofloxacin for 7 days, as he assumed that I have Chlamydia and Gonorrhea but we didn’t take any test. 48 hours later the discharge and muscle pain disappeared, but my throat was still sore and my tongue white-yellow and my lymph node under my jaw got swollen as well and I felt discomfort on the head of my penis and testicles.

I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides. I also have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen and very painful headaches. The doctor didn't seem to bothered about it or even check it over. They have prescribed me another 10 day course of ciprofloxacin.
In parallel, we did the semen analysis also at a Urology center. They have prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 14 days-2 dosage each day. At the moment I stopped taking thyroxine and taking only Cipro.
Our worry is whether the hypothyrodism is causing issue in low fertility and motility or the infection in semen (for suggesting to take Ciprofloxacin) the main problem now?
Is hypothyrodism resolved with the intake of Ciprofloxacin or are both different issues? Please clarify.
I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I wouldn't have exercised that much if I had known. The soreness has been getting steadily better.

I am a hetero male in the U.S. In the last year or so, total of 7 incidents with CSWs:
5 incidents of condom-protected vaginal intercourse with 5 different massage girls.
No symptoms, no issues ever occurred after those 5 encounters... so I stupidly allowed the next 2 to escalate to Unprotected oral sex in both directions:
2 incidents of condom-protected vaginal intercourse + plus + UNprotected oral sex in BOTH directions with 2 different escorts.
Back in April around april 15 i had unprotected sex and caught chlamydia. I was treated for chlamydia with 1 single dose of azithromycin. I was fine for about a week or so and then my symptoms seemed to return. from april 25-current. I have been on 2 doses of zithromax, 1 dose of ciprofloxacin, 2 doses of doxcycline, I've tested negative for chlamydia, gonnoreah, herpes, hpv, syphillis , Hep C and HIV.
This was helpful and i am getting first round of tests in the morning.
By taking (ciprofloxacin or antibiotics) is there a possibility that can affect the sign & symptoms or ARS of hiv after 2 – 4 weeks exposure??
ve been self medicating Ciprofloxacin AL 250mg as i thought it could be sithylis and hopeful this would clear it up.
So I have been ttc, used clear blue ovulation tests got my smiley faces had sex on them days and other days then found out I had a bacterial infection and have been taking ciprofloxacin for the infection will this affect my chances??
