I took Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 10 days twice a day about 6 weeks ago and now I don't have any sexual drive and my clit feels numb when. I touch it and when I orgasm I don't have intense orgasms like I used to.
I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides. I also have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen and very painful headaches. The doctor didn't seem to bothered about it or even check it over. They have prescribed me another 10 day course of ciprofloxacin.
I also had no muscle or joint pain just numbness in my right leg and arm occasionally. I have no swelling and no other pains. The last few times I’ve went to the doctor I have been a normal temperature so no fever, even though my forehead did feel warm. I feel like I have certain symptoms sometimes and then they go away. I’ve gotten really bad anxiety lately and any symptom becomes amplified and I try to google doctor myself and it’s driving me crazy.
I have also been experiencing as if I’m off balance or the ground is moving below my feet for a brief second at times. I have also experienced numbness and tingling symptoms in my face and hands that last about 15 minutes happened 6-7 times. I have also noticed muscles twitching now in the last few days most noticeable in my calf muscles but seem to be all over. I have been to the doctor numerous times he has performed blood work, Ct scan, Sinus scans all came back clear.
In parallel, we did the semen analysis also at a Urology center. They have prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 14 days-2 dosage each day. At the moment I stopped taking thyroxine and taking only Cipro.
Our worry is whether the hypothyrodism is causing issue in low fertility and motility or the infection in semen (for suggesting to take Ciprofloxacin) the main problem now?
Is hypothyrodism resolved with the intake of Ciprofloxacin or are both different issues? Please clarify.
I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I wouldn't have exercised that much if I had known. The soreness has been getting steadily better.
By taking (ciprofloxacin or antibiotics) is there a possibility that can affect the sign & symptoms or ARS of hiv after 2 – 4 weeks exposure??

I don’t think it is a reaction to ciprofloxacin, but could be an aggravation of the persisting infection. If it were a allergic reaction to the medicine it would be generalized, rather than local. If localized reaction is present that should be the site of injection. As you are on oral medication this is also not possible.

I'm 22 years old guy, I have a pharyngithis and tonsillits for 2 weeks, the doctor gave me 5 day ciprofloxacin ( I don't know if it works for tonsillitis ) and 7 day nimesulide. In the second day taking the ciprofloxacin, my throat pain went away and until now just the pharyngithis and tonsillits persistis.
Is it possible for ciprofloxacin to cause vitreous detachment and floaters? I had never noticed floaters previously, but after a 20-day course of ciprofloxacin I now have 4 or 5 floaters across both eyes and have also experienced flashing lights in my eyes when I am in a dark room.
