I just found out that I have a large parapelvic cyst 3.5 cm in my left kidney and I would like to know what kind of treatments there are for such. I'm now taking Ciprofloxacin HCL 500 mg 1 Tab twice a day.Can you tell me if I will need surgery or not. I do have an appt with a Urology in Sept and I also have a small kidney small thats1-2 mm nonobstructing rightr superior pole renal calculus.I'm hoping that this medication will help and I won't need to have surgery on my kidney.

Hello, I am 31 year old asian man. I got married 1 month back in india and returned back 10 days before to u.s.a. Since 2 days, I was suffering with pain and burning during urination. Today I got blood in urine. What could be the reason. The burning and pain occurs near the base of my penis where the scrotum starts. I am drinking water normally and also get enough volume of water through urine.
I don't know if I have Trich or not but I was wondering if taking Ciprofloxacin 500mg 2x daily would cure it?
I have the worst taste in my mouth. First, it started off as a metallic/copperish taste. Now, it's progressing to a soapy taste. No matter how much I drink, brush my teeth, or rinse my mouth out with soap, I still have this awful taste. I went to the dentist today and he said everything was fine... no gingivitis, irritation, etc. Nothing.
The only thing I can think of is I took an antibiotic (ciprofloxacin) for a sinus infection weeks ago. Other than that, nothing.

I am experiencing swollen scrotum/testicles in which they seem to swell up and retract. I also have pain that comes and goes in the urethra close to the body (not the head). No pain during urination and no discharge. I got tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea and HIV RNA at day 5 and day 13 after possible exposure and both came back negative. Hello! My son is 4month 10days today. My son was born in indonesia and uptill 3months he had his vacvinations in indonesia itself. Since one month i have come to india for vaccation and his 4month vaccination for DTP- HIB and Polio is pending. I m concerned about getting him vaccinated here in india as brand for vaccination will be different from indonesia.

I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides. I also have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen and very painful headaches. The doctor didn't seem to bothered about it or even check it over. They have prescribed me another 10 day course of ciprofloxacin.
