I carried mycoplasma genitillium and has intercourse with my wife some 3 months ago, she started having odourful urination and itching and that started the uphill for my worries for HIV tests and STD tests. I was done 4th generation tests of P24 and HIV 1 & 2 for 3 months in a row and all came back negative. STD medication i recieved was ciprofloxacin for 15 days twice a day and my wife also took it and than my last results on Mycoplasama came back clear.
I don't know if I have Trich or not but I was wondering if taking Ciprofloxacin 500mg 2x daily would cure it?
I should also mention that a week following exposure I went to the doctor and they found a small amount of bacteria in my urine and put me on ciprofloxacin for 10 days. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated as I'm pretty anxious and worried. Thanks.
I also experience some discomfort in the groin area next to the testicles and some time on my legs
TESTS
-I went to doctor who did an ultrasound on the prostate and testicles and found nothing
-Did STD tests and HIV ELISA 3rd generation test at 8 weeks and they where all negative and nothing abnormal was found in my urine and I have between 1 to 3 white blood cells in urine.

It is difficult to say if they are due to the underlying disease or due to ciprofloxacin. You should consult your doctor for a complete evaluation and diagnosis.

I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides. I also have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen and very painful headaches. The doctor didn't seem to bothered about it or even check it over. They have prescribed me another 10 day course of ciprofloxacin.
In parallel, we did the semen analysis also at a Urology center. They have prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 14 days-2 dosage each day. At the moment I stopped taking thyroxine and taking only Cipro.
Our worry is whether the hypothyrodism is causing issue in low fertility and motility or the infection in semen (for suggesting to take Ciprofloxacin) the main problem now?
Is hypothyrodism resolved with the intake of Ciprofloxacin or are both different issues? Please clarify.

I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I wouldn't have exercised that much if I had known. The soreness has been getting steadily better.

After sex contact, 4 days, the initial symptom was many small red blisters then turned into white and obsorbed and gone except a dull pain inside the penis remained by which Zinnat, cephalossporin 2th generation for five days abated the pain but it came back. I did start the ciprofloxacin course (two tablets) before the urine testing. Would that interfere with the results?
