ciprofloxacin for folliculitis

Dear sir/madam, I am writing this letter to get advice and help regarding my scalp folliculitis. I’ve had this condition for the past 6 years. I’ve tried different treatments including antibiotics like Amoxicillin, erythromycin, minocycline, tetracycline, doxicycline, & ciprofloxacin each course taken for at least 6 months to 1 year. I have also tried topical treatment like Fucidin, Mupirocin, clindamycin and gentamicin.

I m having 3 to 4 hairs from one follicle on my body!! she says its folliculitis infection! she gave me Ciprofloxacin tablets but still it is not really working tht well in long run! its 2 week with Ciprofloxacin but no results!! Is it normal for a sudden increase in my blood report? Can I take clindamycin 300mg over d counter? does folliculitis cause high WBC? Thankyou so much in advance!! I m starting to get worried now!!

What antibiotic is better to take for a tooth infection/ absess tooth Ciprofloxacin or Bactrim?

I don't know if I have Trich or not but I was wondering if taking Ciprofloxacin 500mg 2x daily would cure it?

Hi! I'm 22 years old guy, I have a pharyngithis and tonsillits for 2 weeks, the doctor gave me 5 day ciprofloxacin ( I don't know if it works for tonsillitis ) and 7 day nimesulide. In the second day taking the ciprofloxacin, my throat pain went away and until now just the pharyngithis and tonsillits persistis.

Can it get rid of my folliculitis? If not, what if i leave all treatment and ignore the folliculitis? is there a chance that it will go away by itself and wont come back? If not then whats the permanent solution.... please help im getting very desperate here as i have to get married real soon and i cant with this problem...

ALL of which were before 3months except one was exactly to the day 12 weeks, i continued to have skin issues (reoccurring leg and arm folliculitis) and tested again because of the internet saying it could be attributed to HIV. Well i am over a year later now and it was negative again. My main issue i believe stems from 3 things. 1. I was told by my doctor that there are two kinds of folliculitis, fungal folliculitis and bacterial folliculitis, and if my condition had been bacterial folliculitis, I should have seen some improvement from the anti-acne products I had used on my chest in the beginning, which I had not seen. Hi guys need your advice, i have just came back from malaysia and had watery stools for a week. Just visited the doctor and she gave me ciprofloxacin antibiotics for five days. My diarrhea still persists. She claimed its a bacteria infection.

In parallel, we did the semen analysis also at a Urology center. They have prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 14 days-2 dosage each day. At the moment I stopped taking thyroxine and taking only Cipro. Our worry is whether the hypothyrodism is causing issue in low fertility and motility or the infection in semen (for suggesting to take Ciprofloxacin) the main problem now? Is hypothyrodism resolved with the intake of Ciprofloxacin or are both different issues? Please clarify.

I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides.
