I don't know if I have Trich or not but I was wondering if taking Ciprofloxacin 500mg 2x daily would cure it?
I read online that the combination of Ciprofloxacin and Azithromycin can be dangerous. Is this still the case, if the last Ciprodose was one week before the 2g Azithromycin dose?
Ciprofloxacin has been linked to rare but occasionally severe and even fatal cases of acute liver injury.....

Well with the discharge gone and not returning as of yet (knock on wood) it does mean it is getting better.

No pain during urination and no discharge. I got tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea and HIV RNA at day 5 and day 13 after possible exposure and both came back negative. My symptoms started happening 5 days after my last sexual encounter. It has been 3 weeks with this pain now. I sometimes also feel my legs/feet hot and with some pain the back of my legs and buttocks. I am worried that I have something more serious but I cannot find information about STDs with my type of symptoms.
I'm a 33 year old Male, I eat healthy and exercise regularly. 6 months ago I ended up with a stomach sickness that had me laid up for a week (nausea, diarrhea, vomiting). At the end of that I ended up with a eye infection, I went to a fast clinic and they said I had pinkeye, antibiotics and eye drops for a week didn't do anything. Went to a opthamologist and they said it's ocular herpes not pink eye.
t think the vitamins/minerals having anything to do with your sleepiness. My first guess would be the ciprofloxacin and amoxicillin, whether independently or from the combination of them and your birth control. Prescription drugs typically affect sleep cycles and when you've got more than one going at once, you're at a higher risk for disruptive side effects.
Another thing to keep in mind is the half-life of these drugs.

Due to the above issue my wife's menstrual cycle extends upto 40 days if we do an intercourse. But if there is no intercourse it becomes normal of 30 days.

hi i had sexual encounter with a female kissing her and thenreceving oral sex on march 7, about 3 days later came up with a sore throat and excessive mucus from the mouth(spitting), then i met her again on march 23 and she gave me oral sex again, then 2 days later i had testicluar pain and was afraid so i wnet to the doctor a day after my symptoms.

I have swollen/retracted testicles with pain in the back of them which sometimes I can feel in my legs/buttocks. I also have some pain in urethra but no pain during urination and also no discharge. I have been taking Ciprofloxacin but hasn't really helped. I'm getting frustrated. hi by the way my question is i recently take ciprofloxacin and it has side effect of like yellowish eye and skin/ vomitting and nausea.. and now im done taking the antibiotic .. and took a sgot and sgpt but it is high compared the normal value..
is it still the side effect of the antibiotic or there is really a problem with the liver and needs to be cured ..

I saw another doctor that prescribed ciprofloxacin and gentimicin..I took that for 10days...I still have these symptoms even after so many medications...am having fevers at midday coupled with burning thighs and anus.pls what could these be??
I just had the same situation, although in my case I did not find there was an interaction until I was done taking the Anti-Biotic, I found they had done a study and found that certain antibiotics change or reduce the rate of absorption of thyroid medications. This group is called "Fluoroquinolone" Which includes Ciprofloxacin and others.laura1967 is correct, I was informed by my End to take them 4 hrs apart, to be on the safe side.
So yesterday evening me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex however I am on birth control and have taken it everyday at the same time for five months. I have never missed a day or anything. Today I began the antibiotic ciprofloxacin to treat a UTI. Will the sex from last night affect my birth control even though I have been taking it normally? I feel like it shouldnt because at this point in my birth control cycle my body wouldn't have produced a mature egg to release.
