I now also have burning/freezing pain in both legs that is sometimes unbearable (especially at nights) and body-wide twitching
1- I have read that Cipro can have peripheral neuropathy, panic attacks and twitching as side effect that can start (or go on) even months after discontinuation of medication. I know this is more common with the oral/IV Cipro but I may have used the CiproDex for longer duration that was prescribed. I believe that I was misdiagnosed with anxiety and hyperthyroidism.
I had ear infection 14 months ago which was treated with ciprodex.
m with Lydia, hope you can talk to someone not only for the depression but for your physical problems as well. The dryness, joint/muscle pain, fatigue are some symptoms of Lupus or autoimmune, the other stuff...wow, just haven't heard of so much wrong at same time.
As far as the numbered items you have, it could be any of the three. If I had to guess I'd say #3, or something still related to the infection and maybe causing neurological problems.

If yes, with the current symptoms and their long duration, is my neuropathy reversible? Is there anything that I can do?
I have had for the last 5 months, fluid leaking from ear, A thick yellow sometimes clear puss like fluid, Cause? Infection, I was prescribed ciprodex a week ago, Im suppose to take it for 14 days and then get surgery to patch a hole in my left ear.
The fluid is still leaking, all the time, How can the medication work if my ears wont stay dry? The fluid is probably blocking the medication from actually working.
Thanks for letting me know how it went with the doc. My husband had that underwater feeling at times as well and a lot of pressure. I hope it clears up soon . Is your jaw still sore and numb?
Hey! So this all started about two months ago when I decided it would be a good idea to self-irrigate my ear after experiencing a lot of wax. I got a syringe and some warm water and just started blasting into my right ear canal. It didn't end up being successful as the wax never actually did come out, but I then started having earaches that have never fully healed. I've been to the doctor 4 times since then.

It's possible you still have gonorrhea. Cipro is no longer the recommended treatment for gonorrhea. You need to get a shot for it. Let your doctor know you're having these symptoms.
ciprodex,ofloxacin,elatrolet,toviaz,spasmex,sedural,sodium bi carbonate . Non of these drugs helped my or eased my symptoms. In addition, I went through 10 acupuncture sessions without any improvement. Drinking ample amounts of water, parsley tea and cranberry juice showed no change as well. Nothing seems to help. I don't know how to carry on from this point on, my quality of life has been impaired to a point where I can no longer recall the feeling of being well.
t felling better in a couple of days, and to schedule a recheck for a week later. Thursday, my ear still felt plugged, I was getting sharp pains, and ringing so I went back to the doctor. He said that there is alot of drainage in there and it kinda looked like swimmer's ear. He also said he wasn't able to see my eardrum because there was so much drainage. He put me on Ciprodex. Here I am, 5 days after all of this started, and my ear is still plugged!!!
I am a newly diagnosed lupus patient but have been told there is no lupus involvement. I received IV steroids for a couple of days for my lupus and I noticed a change in my eyesight. (better) I was put on 20mg of prednisone for 1 1/2 months and then I was put on 40mg prednisone for a week. I noticed that my eyesight was getting better. Personally I dont know if my eye problems have anything to do with the lupus.
Ent relented and gave me Ciprodex ear drops. Began using 3 daya ago, they seem to help, especially first 2days, but the antibiotics I was on at the time, the prescribed term to use them was up! Now the drops don't seem as effective??? In the interim saw my family doctor, she looked in both ears, said the one ear, ear dum is clear, like saran wrap, the ear that I'm having the problem with, she said looks pink and thicker, she didn't seem to have an answer!!! Any ideas???
) What is the best type of light for your eyes? I heard that sunlight can be bad in one sense.. Would living in only red-light be bad for your eyes?
3.) Can I improve my eye sight by doing eye exercises daily? You know- like looking different directions underwater?
4.) Right now, I need glasses only to see things very far away.. I never ware them. Will this inevitably make my eyes worse?

Thank you for your answer. I would like to ask you another question. The vep test was done on June 20 2017. In Jan 2017 I saw the retina doctor he took a picture of the eye and look in back of the eye
He never said about the optic nerve. The neurology doctor wants the retina doctor to look at the medical report. I have a appointment on July 13 2017. Which is more accurate? Thank you for your help.
