ciprodex

328799 tn?1276565732 difficulty sleeping, nausea and vomiting, anxiety, and decreased apetite! This could very well be causeing or at least influencing your symptoms. You should see your doctor about it. It could be the cipralex, or it could be your anxiety and fear, or they could very well be playing off of each other like you say. I know that with me, if I am experiencing a sympom, it will get worse if I worry about it, then the symptom gets worse and I worry more.. a vicious cycle!

Has anyone had experience taking this medication. Was there improvement in taking this medication and any side-effects experienced. I look forward to hearing your experiences. Thanks.

I have three young kids and a great husband. I just want to feel normal again. Looking for some positive feedback. How long does it take for these meds to work? Thanks!
Avatar f tn What would be your suggestion for how to switch from the Paxil to cipralex? I know that 20mg Paxil equals about 10mg cipralex. What rate would you decrease + increase? Perhaps you could give me a rough outline of how to make the transition? Thanks so much!
1001742 tn?1252685847 Cipralex is an anti-anxiety pill. Escitalopram belongs to the group of medications called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). It works by increasing levels of a neurotransmitter called serotonin in the brain. Increased serotonin levels can lead to an improved mood.
Avatar f tn This is very frustrating and hard to live with. I also have extreme fatigue, dizziness, nausea, and headaches. Iv had tests done that cane back clear. It's hard to believe that this severe tingling in my head is just anxiety. Help?!??!!

Avatar f tn Hi all I'm on day 4 taking cipralex after switching from escitalopram my question to you all is my anxiety is getting worse by the day and having to take a zopiclone to sleep at night will my anxiety slowly fade in time as I take the cipralex daily no other side effects to report just the heightened anxiety any info on this would be great Thanks Jessica
Avatar f tn I have experienced this from both Celexa and Cipralex. Weening yourself off the medication will probably be your doctor's strongest suggestion, as this eases the body out of dependency. The first withdrawal symptoms I experienced were slight brain twitches, almost as if I was feeling little shocks or jerks. They didn't scare me because I knew the cause, and they subsided quite quickly. After that it was mostly dizziness or lightheadedness, fatigue and irritability.
Avatar n tn I don't know how you were told to take the cipralex, but it is at least probably best to take it in the morning. It's not one you're supposed to get tired of. You might want to read the leaflet of it too. That's always a good idea. I agree on the thyroid test suggested above. That's one of the first things that should be checked, even if not all depression has to be genetic or "run in the family". Have you read here in MedHelp about Depression?
Avatar m tn I took the paroxetine that did well for a while then the cipralex that does not do anything to me is so confused. After that I did insomnia, the doctor giving me the zolpidem which obviously and that made me sick I am very scared.

Avatar f tn I feel aweful - very dizzy, confused, heavyness over eyes, bad eyesight, sensitive hearing. Actually many of these symptoms I had before starting Cipralex - my doctor thought Cipralex would help. I also have a history of complicated migraine, I have not taken Sibelium since December 2008. I am wondering if maybe the symptoms I am experiencing are migraine related - and therefore Cipralex is not the answer. Should I be restarted on Sibelium?

Avatar f tn Hi I'm currently taking cipralex (antidepressants) for anxiety and panic attacks. Currently I have been feeling a strange electric shock type feeling going through my body. This is usually accompained by pulsing of muscles. I don't think this could be caused by anxiety as lately I have been less anxious. I am worried that have some rare disease I would be really grateful for any advice. Thanks in advance :).
Avatar m tn I met a psychologist and he said I am suffering from Panic Disorder and anxiety and I start taking Cipralex 5 mg and later 10 mg. I was feeling good after that and no more panics for 9 month. After 9 months taking Cipralex I again fwlt not good, I was changing moods and the pill made me feeling tired, fatigue, and weak. So, I drop the medicine. after that I had a dental surgery to remove my wisdome tooth.
Avatar n tn the side affects will be different per antidepressant although they all usually come with nausea, headache, tiredness/drowsiness, Loss of appetite or sometimes increase in appetite. But these symptoms usually only last 2 weeks til your used to them.
Avatar m tn I really got scared that it might give me an Std or something as my penis got really irritating and leaked thru out the day I was given ciproxen and it went away . Then I was referred to a gastro specialist who gave me Lozal, cipralex 10mg, colofac, and to continue ciproxin for 3 days and after four days I had my endoscopy. I felt terrible due to cipralex and told the doctor who replaced cipralex ( after four days of me using it ) with lexotanil.
