Avatar m tn Hi, I am 42 yrs old, I missed my period by 2 days, and on the weekend I was rushed to the hospital for food poisoning, my white blood cell count is high, and I feel better 2 days after the food poisoning. So I am wondering if I could be pregnant. I know I am old and I know my changes are very low, and I am in a place in my life where I don't want this to happen. I have looked into lyme disease, and any blood diseases assosiated with high wbc.
1546331 tn?1293737217 Thank you for your comment it makes sence but it is hell going through it with him. I quit two years ago and took Champix and did not have any side effects like he has and my doctor followed my closely and I was also in a local support group to help get me started to quit. But my Mr does not want to do any of those things nor admit that the withdrawl is making him nuts, no just blame it on me..lol.. I never thought I had or possessed such power over his mind.

Avatar f tn I was on Cipralex for a year since losing dad and losing my job. had bad anxiety and insomnia.
Avatar n tn I take both those meds and avoid all cold medicines and over the counter medications because they can interact with the cipralex and serequel. I always call my pharmacist and ask which medications could counteract with my anti depressants.
1267205 tn?1321117128 anxiety is a common denominator for all psych disorders. it's not specific to BP alone. Taking cipralex will do you good for a while but then it will drive you manic eventually. you said cipralex, is it the only drug you take or along with other meds ? because if you take mood stabilizers along with then perhaps it's safe. but i never heard someone with BP is prescribed an antidepressant only. cipralex is rather strong it's an SSRI.
Avatar m tn I dont drink and am not on any medication except champix to stop smoking. I have never experienced this before. I am a 53 year old male and drive for a living, so to suddenly "come to" after 2 hours of driving was a bit worrying.

The result of the MRI saying "Mild ectopia of cerebellar tonsils. The tips of the tonsil is 5mm below the formen magnum. No mass effect is seen on the Brain stem.
Avatar f tn My went to visit my doctor about my anxiety and sleeping issues and he has put me on Cipralex 10mg dosage a day and also prescribed me 50mg of trazodone to be taken at bedtime to help me sleep. Does anyone take these prescriptions? if so could I please get some feedback on them?
574118 tn?1305135284 So do you think panic and fear can be an extra side effect of cipralex and i should increase the above doze of xanax.
Avatar f tn I am on the patches and have been smoke free for a week! There is really no side effects that I have experienced! Depending on how many cigarettes you smoke will depend on how many MG you need to be on. You can buy them over the counter or your doctor can prescribe them as well so your insurance can help pay for them. Good luck to you!
Avatar m tn I have had head aches on cipralex, and when I drink some or even more then some drinks I get almost sick with a head ache. 1) are head aches common in taking anxiety drugs, 2) any way preventing the head aches. 3) dry mouth is that common with these drugs.
Avatar n tn I would give it some time. and don't keep checking your heart rate. Cipralex and this class of drugs are long acting and not something that would just drop your heart rate. But as your stress and anxiety decrease, your heart rate in the resting mode may go back to normal. A resting heart rate of 50 is in the normal range. You are on a low dose. Hope it helps your anxiety/panic. I have found that often anxiety takes a bit higher dose to really work well.
Avatar n tn When I stopped, I was fine for six months but my depression suddenly started again. I restarted taking cipralex 10 mg one each night and I improved quickly. Now it is four years that I am taking it. I now want to stop it because I am having very decreased sixual drive. So my question is that, Will my sexual drive improve when I stop taking cipralex?
Avatar m tn I was on Champix, and quit taking it about a month ago. I am in the process of opening a new business, and have been experiencing a lot of stress during this process. I don't know what this is, I know it's not my eczema, and I know it's not contagious because my husband has broken out in the rash and itching. Does anyone know anything?
Avatar f tn I was on cipralex (lexapro in the US) for almost 3 years and initially experienced some dry mouth, but no extreme side effects at all. It worked amazingly for me. I started on 10mg and then doubled to 20mg after 1 year. I recently switched to Paxil about 1 month ago, and have really disliked the way it makes me feel. My anxiety has been much worse and the side effects are just awful. It has been so much worse than cipralex.
Avatar f tn My physician said champix tablet can be used for 12w to quit smoking.but there is no representatives here in chennai to supply tablet and give counselling.if anyone knew pls help.
Avatar f tn I was on celexa for 8.5 yrs.. Started on 20mgs n my dr raised it to 40mgs after 4 yrs cuz it just didn't seem to be working.. After another 4.5 yrs it stopped working so she put me on cipralex... Been on cipralex for about almost 2 yrs now, and I don't find it worked as well as the celexa when it was working... I'm guessing it works different for everybody.. Do u still suffer panic n depression a lot??
Avatar m tn I am facing burning feet and shin while sitting since last 5 years. My NCS, RA Factor, ANA, ESR are normal. I have taken variety of medicines including Dulan, ronirol, tegral, prothyadine, cipralex, epival cr 500, sensival 25 etc. but my problem is still not resolved. During this problem i started walk which increased the problem. However, during walk i feel very normal i.e. no painful burning sensation, i feel. This is important that when i lay down i donot feel pain.
Avatar f tn First of all may I ask why you switched from celexa to cipralex? I know I have asked my Dr about abilify and she will not prescribe it for me, not sure why but she does say there are better drugs out there... I know every Doc is different as is every person. Sorry, I know this does not answer your question..
Avatar m tn Theres and Refractory, I appreciate your insights. I went to see my doctor this morning and like I told him, "the good news is that I stopped smoking...the bad news is that I now feel like killing myself." (I'm being somewhat flip here, but my mood swings are like nothing I have ever encountered before). My doctor started me on zoloft today and referred me for counseling. Good luck to anyone going on Chantix.
