I have some erectile dysfunction due to having to be on beta blockers. I've been prescribed Cialis 5mg once a day, but haven't gotten up the courage to take one yet. Kind of afraid to be honest. I know many many take it with no problem, but I have a tendancy to feel my heart race more than usual during sex and at random times, which is why I take the beta blockers, but I'm not having a normal sex life. I know my doctor knows what's best.
I wondered because they only ever had me take the antipsychotics I've taken once a day and I always heard everyone else talk about taking them twice a day. I'm only awake 12 hours or less a day and the current one I'm on has a half life of 3 days so I guess it's kind of pointless for me to take it twice a day.
I have a question regarding the different doses of Cialis. I was once given a 20mg Cialis pill by a friend and broke it in half. So I took around 10mg dosage. I cannot afford Cialis through my insurance so I was going to try the free sample voucher on their website. They have 2 different options. the every day dosage of 5mg or the 20mg dosage for one time use. I don't have an all the time problem, so I would be taking it on occasion.

Wishbone, if the 20 mg Cialis failed you , then you might try going to the daily 5 mg . It should work for you on a consistent basis.. One thing to remember is that you must take it every day. Now , I need to ask if you have visited a urologist on this matter yet? If not I would suggest you do so..
Because if Cialis and other meds fail to work - there could be valve issues in the penis where they will not hold the blood to maintain the erection even with heavy arousalment.
What dose of Cialis did your Dr. prescribe? I think 20 mg is the normal dose, but I think there's also a 10 mg dose, and these 2 are for 'one-time' or 'on-demand' use when you expect to have sex. Cialis has a much longer effect than Viagra or Levitra, up to 36 hr in some cases.

I called the cardiologist office, The cardiologist has taken me off Metoprolol and I will be starting 120mg a day of Cardizem a day now (if I take the whole dose). Hopefully it will help. So Cardizem is a calcium channel blocker, what is the main difference between it & Metoprolol? It won't affect libido?
