Avatar m tn I have suffered from Erectile disfunction for many years and have used all of the chemical products but quite recently i have decided to go down the alternative route. I have found a site that is very good as it sells 100% herbal alternatives and yes, they really do work!! and without the nasty side effects. The drug companies do not like people to know that there are such good herbal impotence products. called http://www.dirtybutclean.co.
Avatar m tn I enjoyed smoking marijuana. At least I did until I was on Zoloft, then Welbutrin. I switched from Zoloft because it caused mild E.D. that went away when I started on Welbutrin. All is fine down south now. However, I do not get much in the way of euphoria when I smoke pot. My depression is considerably less but my creativity and euphoria are almost gone. I was publishing good stuff in literary journals and now no creative juices flow.
Avatar f tn Question, sometimes during sex I feel my heart rate get up very high, I know this is normal. My doc prescribed me 5mg Cialis to take because I told him I was having some trouble maintaining an erection at times during sex. That is partly the metoprolol probably, and partly the Lexapro I take. Will the Cialis be enough to give me back my erections? Also, I've never taken an ED drug before. Are they safe for the heart? Like do they cause any abnormal heart rhythms or tachycardia?
Avatar n tn No pain or anything but it took about 2 weeks to all go away then it never did it again until 7 months later after taking cialis and it was the same as before but in a different place then 4 months later after taking cialis again it did the same thing with the same symptoms etc, it has only happened after taking viagra or cialis and I have only taken it 3 times and all 3 times this happened. Is this some kind of reaction i'm having with whatever substance they make this stuff with?
Avatar n tn t been able to get or hold erections....not often but enough that it bothers me. I have tried all kinds of drugs...viagra, cialis, over the counter stuff....they work but I don't like the side effects or having to use chemicals. Is there anything natural out there that gives you that extra sex drive you need to ensure you always get and hold a good erection...or should I just assume I will have that problem because I am getting older...I don't want to lose it.
Avatar f tn I have a medicine induced erectile dysfunction for a few years. I sometimes take viagra or cialis, but it doesn't work very well so I am looking for other things. I'd like to try vitaros, but I have a curved penis, which is a contraindication for alprostadil treatement. So my question is : is curvature an absolute contraindication, and can it sometimed be prescribed to men who have a curved penis ? My penis has always been curved in erection.
Avatar m tn If this is indeed a case of psychogenic ED, there are solutions available. PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra) are very effective and can make you more confident but they're not exactly anxiety drugs. There's another ED drug that could be useful: Vigamed (oral phentolamine). Vigamed blocks the effects of stress hormones (adrenaline is an erection killer, this is why anxiety and erections don't go hand in hand) and promotes blood flow to the penis via the sympathetic system.

Avatar f tn I would like some advice on getting some type of OTC drug or natural supplement that may replace antibiotics. I have had a sinus and gum infection along w/headaches and tooth pain for 4 mos. I live in VA., and they don't sell antibiotics OTC like some sates do. In addition, I have BV and I hope that the antibiotic would help that too. Also, I'm uninsured and cannot see a physician, therefore, I cannot obtain a prescription.
Avatar n tn I prefer to not get on the chemical merry-go-round if at all possible, which require more medications and so forth and go the naturopathic route as that has no side effects, so is there a natural regimen I can take for the problem?
Avatar m tn Then discuss with your doctor whether it is OK to take Viagra, or Cialis, or Goat Weed [aka horny goat weed]. The latter is not readily available, can be found [unsure about the UK] at some health food/herbal stores.
Avatar f tn That should always be your first resort, since medication will not cure you, it will only treat symptoms. As for natural remedies, they are complicated and not so easy to describe how to use them, so the best bet is to see a naturopath if you want to try that road. A book to read is Natural Highs by Hyla Cass, a psychiatrist at UCLA. We also don't know how old you are, and both certain medications and some natural remedies are inappropriate for people under a certain age.
Avatar m tn Has anyone used natural therapies for allergies with success? I found this: http://***.*****.com/allergies/all-modality/allergies/miscellaneous/which-alternative-therapies-are-used-in-the-treatment-of-allergies-and-how-effective-are-they.html which seems like a great resource. I've tried QBC (quercitin, bromelein, Vitamin C) mixes and had some luck with those, but only if I remember to take them all the time.

Avatar f tn Hello and thank you for reading. My husband and I are trying to conceive but it's been difficult. He's not able to maintain the erection and sometimes not get it. It's only recent actually. He's 35 and doesn't seem to be stressed out. When he went to the doctor, he was prescribed cialis. Then when the doctor checked him, he said his foreskin doesn't go back when he's erect and it's very painful if it is pulled back.
Avatar n tn I just looked at several websites about this and only found 2 answers. One, there IS a cialis made for women. Two, women should not take cialis for men. No reason was given. Sorry that's all I have for you.
