Maybe the Cialis will be enough to override any sexual side effects from the Metoprolol so I won't have to switch, but still curious whether I should ditch it for the Cardizem to at least try it. I don't have high blood pressure, just tachycardia and the metoprolol really helps keep that in check. So I'm starting Cialis 5mg a day as needed for erectile dysfunction due to side effects from Metoprolol. I've cut down my dose of Metoprolol to about 37.5mg a day. I have no lack of interest, just my penis goes soft without manual stimulation. If I stroke it, fine, but if I'm having sex, for the last year or so, since I started the meds, it will periodically go soft without constant stroking which is highly annoying.

I am a 27 year old male and was recently prescribed Cialis due to sexual side effects I was seeing from depression. I took 3 doses on 5/12 - 25mg, 5/13 - 20mg and 5/18 - 20mg. During that time I never experienced a constant erection that was painful, just recall many erections off and on but none that lasted consistently for hours on end.
As time has progressed I have noticed my penis in a flaccid state has hardened (but is not erect), I have not used Cialis since 5/18.
I am considering switching from Levitra to Cialis. Have read that Cialis has a longer half life (up to 36 hrs vs. 5-7 hrs.). Anyway, I have tried extending Levitra's half-life by taking a second dosage a few hours later, but no matter what, the max effects still really fade off 5-7 hours after the initial dosage. Wondering if anyone knows why this might be... and why a second dose would not extend the effects? Just helps with planning.
Hello and thank you for reading. My husband and I are trying to conceive but it's been difficult. He's not able to maintain the erection and sometimes not get it. It's only recent actually. He's 35 and doesn't seem to be stressed out. When he went to the doctor, he was prescribed cialis. Then when the doctor checked him, he said his foreskin doesn't go back when he's erect and it's very painful if it is pulled back.
