1396517 tn?1500880649 I've been taking cialis for a month and haven't really noticed any side effects. If you really don't wanna try it then you can try kegels or some supps like L Arginine.
Avatar m tn i took cialis for ED. but now am expressing eye pain and headache. how long do these side effects last without any medication?
Avatar f tn I used it in conjunction with my viagra and when i ran out of my viagra supply. It is L-Arginine. Another supplement is L-Carnitine. Don't take them together. L-Carnitine should be taken on a emply stomach. There are many different forms--and they each have a slightly different function. What i took of the L-Carnitine is GPLC by Jarrow pharmaceuticals. I know Australia has several good supplier of supplements. L-Arginine works differently than viagra.
Avatar m tn Please do more web searches and DO NOT use Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra. I also have RP and ED. I bought L-arginine/Orinithine but am wary about using until I read that it's ok. Blood flow changes seem to be very bad to already bad retinal cells.
Avatar m tn I had problems of getting hard and maintaining erection so I started taking medicantions (Korean Red Ginseng, L-Arginine) and it really helped me to perform in bedroom but How can I get rid of these medications and get erection naturally
Avatar m tn I accidentally took a work out supplement thats is a nitric oxide thing. It has niacin and L arginine in it. Its suppose to make ur blood vessles open up bigger for a better pump at the gym. Then a took viagra a couple hours later and has the swollen erection. I saw a regular Dr and a urologist. Both were a waste of time and money. Anyone else experience somthing similar? I havent gone more than 5 days without having sex. I am going to try 2 weeks.
Avatar f tn Before I caught up with him the first time he mentioned to me he had problems with ED and was taking Cialis. This had been happening for the last 15 years in his life. When I saw him for the first time, he was able to achieve erections with no problem but had difficulty ejaculating. He did a couple of times with a lot of help from me. Forward 5 months and we catch up again and this time he could not achieve any erection whatsoever even though he was still taking the Cialis.
Avatar m tn L-Arginine, which is widely available (WalMart has it) has an effect of dilating blood vessels that can help a bit. There are other 'natual' products that can nelp - Maca root, Ahwagandha, etc. Do a little online research & you can find a number of foods & supplements that help - they don't have as dramatic an effect as Viagra, Cialis, etc., but they're worth trying, especially if you don't have severe ED, just need a little help...
Avatar m tn Is there any correlation between biliary dyskinesia and L-arginine? I heard L-arginine affects the sphincter of the oddi, which is the cause to my biliary dyskinesia if I'm not mistaken. Does the L-arginine help or hurt? Or is it neutral?
Avatar m tn Glad to know you haven’t given up on sex at 74 - I’m 69 & no plans to give it up anytime soon! Now a Q: Does this ED occur when having partnered sex? If you are able to get good erections by yourself, that’s a sign there’s not a physical prblm. If it’s only occurring during partner sex, it could be just ‘performance anxiety’. Obviously, at 74, you may not have a willing partner, so it’s understandable to take care of your needs on your own.
Avatar m tn Thus, I need to address my erection problems while still being able to take Propecia. I read that L-Arginine could help with my erectile problems and that it works similar to Viagra. Thus, I began taking L-Arginine, 1500 mg. twice a day. It has helped but it has not solved the problem. I went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for Viagra, 50 mg. My question is this: Is it safe to occasionally take Viagra if I also take L-Arginine?
Avatar n tn , however the year is 2014, and knowledge regarding L-Arginine (a vasodilator, that increases the interior diameter of the blood vessels, increasing body capacitance) and the safety thereof has been common knowledge for the last fifty years. That being said I think it would always be a good idea to ask your doctor about everything in your life.
Avatar m tn I take a multi vitamin as well as L-Arginine, Zinc and Saw Palmetto. I was wondering if anyone has any concrete evidence that the L-Arginine especially has any negative effects on my condition (causes/exacerbates) breakouts etc. I also currently use vitamin E liquid topically and have been trying to live as healthy a life style as possible. I like taking the L-arginine for the muscle building properties but I am willing to stop taking it if it makes my HPV worse.
1703392 tn?1307450500 I found an interesting article regarding taking taurine and l-arginine (amino acid) supplements for eliminating PVCs. If you google "taurine for pvcs" there are some interesting stories. http://george-eby-research.com/html/taurine-l-arginine-arrhythmias.pdf Anyone out there suffering from benign pvcs/pacs try this?
Avatar m tn i had honestly lost hope, and thought i would have to rely on viagra and cialis for sexual activity. however i spoke to a psychologist after 2 years of suffering with ed , and within 3 months, i saw drastic improvements. this was mainly due to psychological baggage i was carrying for many years. i just wanted to say that there is hope! i hope you find your cure soon!
Avatar m tn & one thing that i understand from the report is: the sequential therapy facilitate the T-cell function to word the Hbsag clearance fast. Does this mean adding L-Arginine to our Nuc's helps more to facilitate to the Hbsag clearance? Thanks!
Avatar f tn However, another doctor told me I should not take it because I have an autoimmune disease (Sjogren) and L-Arginine would aggravate my condition. I am not sure whom should I follow. Have anyone aware of any research related to L-Arginine and auto immune problem? Many thanks!
Avatar m tn What did your urologist tell you exactly? Your case seems to be very complex and I suggest you seek a second opinion (i.e. another urologist or urology clinic). You'll have to do a series of tests to determine the exact cause of your problem - your low testosterone levels may not explain everything, ED is a multifactorial condition. As for the right treatment, again, only a doctor can help you.
Avatar f tn I have a question from the opposite angle.. I had been told l- arginine would be of help releasing nitric oxide in the blood to help with male erection/orgasm ..however, that arginine shouldn't be taken by those with hsv1/2 because it can provoke an outbreak. Can you debunk this ? I would love to take arginine if it can help at all !
Avatar n tn L-Arginine and L-Citrulline are quite effective in restoring sexual ability in a certain universe of patients, specifically those with diabetic neuropathy. You need to take at least 2-3 grams of L-Arginine for an effect. Purchase it in quantitities at health food stores.
Avatar m tn All the searches I have done related to this inform me of a diet high in L-Lysine and low in L-Arginine to help treat herpes, which I do not have. I am currently undergoing cryotherapy for my breakouts because the Aldera cream irritates me too much. I also currently use vitamin E liquid topically and have been trying to live as healthy a life style as possible (quit smoking, drinking and eating healthier).
Avatar n tn I have been taking L-arginine, L-citrulline, along with Alpha Lipoic acid and fish oil to prevent heart disease. My doctor told me to take aspirin. I exercise 4 times per week and have lost 10 lbs. Recently I have been having frequent nosebleeds. I cut back on the dosage of aspirin but still have nose bleeds although not as often. I don't know if the combination of supplements is the cause of the nosebleeds.
20620809 tn?1504362969 sometimes things work OK), you can try some ‘natural’ and/or herbal treatments that may help. The amino acid L-Arginine is known to dilate blood vessels & help w/ erections, L-Citrulline does the same & may be even more effective. Maca root may help, and there are other herbals that you can look up online that may have some positive effects. Many co’s are marketing blends of multiple herbals & some also contain L-Arginine, L-Citrulline, or both.
