Also taking xalaton and timolol for glaucoma. History of grade 1 transitional cell bladder cancer. Remission for 6 years.

There is a form of glaucoma (normal tension glaucoma) that sometimes fools doctors into thinking the glaucoma is under control or not present as the eye pressure seems OK but the vision might still deteriorate. If ever in doubt, you could always get a second opinion with another glaucoma specialist to make sure everything is being done correctly.
