I had quite severe BHP and taking proscar and cardura. Had always difficulty urinating. I tried saw palmetto and it made me unable to urinate at all. I had to go to hospital.

Iam a 49 years old male
1-When I was 40 , I went to the doctor as I was having small drop of urine in the end of urination, doctor told me not to worry and no examination was done.
2-five years ago ........ I had the problem getting more while passing urine (when i pea few drops of urine come out in the end ) I went to the doctor and he did a PSA test it was (0.78), and he did a Uroflowmetry and it was normal and he told me not to worry about it and no medication is required.
observation if another biopsy done in 04/09 shows increase in positive cores to 3 or more or if any one core shows 50%+ positive for cancer? Also, is there any current opinion regarding use of Avodart or Proscar while in Watchful Waiting mode? I understand there would be a likely reduction in PSA, but that new PSA baseline be established and return to monitoring of PSA velocity. Not sure what, if any, benefit this would provide.

New glasses again- same thing right. The right lens is a -.75. I have been using cheap glasses I got on Amazon for the last 3 months because I had to wait until the IOLs were completely settled. I note it is made in India and Thailand which tells me it is a locally produced, cheap and mass sold tablet that cannot deliver what it promises.

I've already done that. This is the first time I've used this optometrist and optician (under the same roof). They say everything looks fine and we've already done that poly to plastic swap. we have no info on bht's effectiveness on herpes. all the info on it is general antiviral type property info. we also have no studies on if it reduces shedding of the virus either. it's also not all that cheap.
if money and reducing transmission to a partner aren't an issue, by all means try it. if you want proven effectiveness that is cheap, I recommend acyclovir. you can get it for $4 for a round of episodic therapy with a prescription at walmart and other pharmacies.
Anyway, during that time this doctors office left me a phone message saying he had a prescription for me to take that I needed called in; no explanation, no consultation. His office said they couldn't tell me what it was for or any information, just that they'd call it in and I'm supposed to take it.

I think it is a crime that every doctor is pushing methadone for pain relief, due to pressure of the costs of other available, less harmful methods. Is there a panel ANYWHERE looking into this epidemic for the pain SUFFERER? I am NOT going to become a methadone addict because it is SO CHEAP! I have several family members on methadone, much to THEIR chagrin, and now they can't get off it.
Also, if you contact the drug company that manufactures your brand, you might be able to get them to send it to you for free (prescription required). There are no OTC meds that will replace prescription meds, and I agree with Auntlello1...they will probably be more expensive than prescriptions.
