i feel epigastric pulsation 2 times along with left parasternal heave.on epigastric examination i feel no tenderness or mass like structure..last 3 yrs i did least physical activity along with taking weed tendency was quite freqent.the pulsation was also visible..wht shoud i do.need help.

Hi, I had a mammogram Aug 27th which that the small node I have had for years has grown. Two days later I had an ultrasound that shows a hypoechoic structure deep within the chest wall and has a hyperechoic notch to it with an appeappearance of a benign lymph node but does not correlate with the position of the mammogram. Given the findings of this ultrasound and enlargemnt of the density on the mammogram biopsy is recommended. My question is would you take it out completely?

The CT found a nodule, and the PET will determine if the nodule is metabolically active or not, and if there are other areas in the body showing metabolic activity. Activity could be due to several reasons, including cancer and infection.
If metabolic activity is seen, then a CT guided FNAC or biopsy would be the next step.
However, as I mentioned, there is currently no evidence of cancer.
