Avatar n tn Please share the supplements and dosage instructions that you're taking. Are you following the pH recommendations? What about elimination of foods enabling the pathogens?
Avatar f tn ( and gave me a prescription of Omeprazole with Celebrex. Unfortunately I suffered very bad side effects such as hallucinations (Omeprazole) and rash with both. So am still in a lot of pain and not sure what to do? Just wondered if anyone can suggest any recommendations. And if you do eventually get better? I find sitting very hard which means I can't work at the minute.
Avatar n tn Norflex, Celebrex and Kotase(Bromelain). He asked me to take one of each tab twice a day for 5 days before removing the cast. According to him, this will reduce the pains i will feel when the cast is removed. However, i am a bit worried about the drugs. I'm bothered there might be some after effects. I'm also worried the drugs might be too strong. Please what do you think?
Avatar n tn s a higher dosage than what my body is used too other then that i have no other problems with it...

Avatar n tn She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.
Avatar f tn I have been prescibed Celebrex for osteoarthris pain. Can it be taken every day for long term management of arthritis.
1207048 tn?1282174304 I started on Celebrex on Sunday. I take it every afternoon at the same time. I have not noticed any difference. I had read that it should only take "a few days" for it to start working. I'm not sure how long I should give it? Admittedly, I was not happy to be starting it in the first place, so my gut reaction is to only give it a week, and stop it if it doesn't seem to be working. The thing that seems to be working the most is my nighttime dose of gabapentin.
503607 tn?1275671579 She has tried steriods, beta blockers, Cymbalta, Celebrex, Topamax, Nortriptine and pain meds. Nothing has brought relief. Can anyone make any recommendations she is desperate for help. She has seen numerous neurologists and they keep trying the same things. We are on Long Island in NY if anyone has any recommendations for a great doctor.
Avatar n tn i dont feel comfortable answering your question. this is a substance abuse forum...we dont give out medical advice or dosage recommendations.
Avatar f tn Hello! I was just diagnosed with Lyme disease, though I know I've had it for four years. Looking for a LLMD in Colorado and would deeply appreciate suggestions. Also have questions about treatment. Doxy seems to be the go to antibiotic from what I've read, but will it be effective when lyme has had 4 years to develop in my body? And what dosage would I need? Some people say 200mg/day, but I've seen others say you need 400mg. Thanks in advance!
Avatar f tn Tramadol and Ultram have very little if any effect and I have been told my the family doctor that Ibuprofen, Aleve and Celebrex are now unhealthy for my eye condition. Any suggestions as to what can be taken for pain that won't interfere with the current eye treatments?
Avatar n tn And to my surprise Celebrex is a potential contributor to neuropathy. So i want to know, if any of you is suffering from neuropathic pain and are not diabetic and have used Celebrex for a long time? Until recently i was using Effexor and used it for 10 years, so i think the effexor was camouflaging my pain since they use it in neuropathy treatement. But, during the last year of using Effexor the pain got stronger, and now since i'm free of Effexor the pain is getting stronger.
479244 tn?1271563659 t figure out is why there are no dosage recommendations or references to the 1/2 stops on the redipen. There are 5 stops but the literature never suggests using the stop between say .4 and .5 ml for someone who might be right on the cusp of the weight recommendations. My Dr. prescribed .4 ml for me even though I was technically 4 lbs over the cutoff point. (169 lbs - 120mcg redipen) But rather than recommend that I use the stop in between .4 and .
Avatar f tn 05MG one in the AM as a back up ( in case I cant get my Armour RX filled ) Is it OK to switch from Armour to the cytomel/levothyroxine and is the dosage equivalent ? I notice when I take my Armour, I feel very hot/warm and somewhat irritable afterwards for a few hours. Is that a normal side effect? I have an enlarged pituitary and enlarged pituitary stalk , which is monitored by MRI yearly.
Avatar f tn Does anyone take celebrex?I started Prozak last week and they want me to take celebrex too. They say my liver can take it, (stage 2 fibrosis). But I am afraid of the NSAIDs in celebrex, any one else taking it? Oh, I am on Methadone too. I am having my first liver biopsy in the morning, so I will find out more about my liver. I am scared to death about it coz I have had so many problems lately.
Avatar f tn No, it would be unheard of for Celebrex to damage your heart valve. Celebrex and similar drugs do cause high blood pressure in many individuals, though. You might have gone forever and not known about the heart valve if you had not gotten high blood pressure from the Celebrex. Follow whatever advice the cardiologist gave you, and don't worry.
Avatar n tn I never had high blood sugar but recently after a 10 day course of celebrex for an inflamed shoulder muscle my fasting blood sugar shot up to 137. I read that celebrex has this side effect. Is it reversible?
Avatar f tn I commented on your other thread, which can be accesses via the following link: http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Thyroid-Disorders/Thyroid-medication/show/2164513 Here are my comments: "I'm not a doctor and I'm not allowed to tell you what dosage you should be on. What are the exact levels of Free T3 and Free T4? Just because they are "in range" doesn't mean they are right for you. Your elevated TSH and symptoms indicate that you need an increase in medication.
