A few days ago I woke up with pain on my lower eyelid, on the outer corner. It lasted all day, and then when I went to sleep, I woke up with no pain. That day I was fine. So I went to sleep and yesterday woke up with the inner corner in pain and swollen. It hurt all day and today I woke up with it even more swollen and red and painful.
My eight year old is allergic to amoxicillin, zithromax, clindamycin, and cefzil. We have seen an allergist, and he said there are no tests for antibiotics and that "we have a problem." Can someone please guide me in what to do next? My doctor was hoping the allergist would help guide us for future treatments. I am fearful for any infection like strep throat, ear or skin infections, we have run out of options.
It is currently nothing that is bothersome, although this past month I developed an edematous cheek (possible sinus infection - of which I have never had) and was placed on cefzil. I have responded well to the antiobiotic and the edema is starting to subside. The lesion did bother me at the onset of infection - more an awareness, than pain. That could be in part due to the fact that it has grown significantly in the last 3/52.

If you are on triple therapy for genotype 1 and undetectable then your doc is following AASLD protocol for anemia management

Anyway, he told me that some people just carry this kindof staff. He put me on antibiotics and recommended I use this soap called cefzil and right away I noticed the boils(purple/redish bumps that have pus in them) lighten up as for the pimples I use oxypads and for everytime I use the restroom I wipe with a babywipe. They are starting the dosing on this compound and it takes me back when they started with vx-950. Is it really possible that this compound will meet or beat the 4+ log drop they had with vx-950? I find it strange that they are already to this stage with a new compound with only a couple of years to market with vx-950. I have tried to get the scoop from vertex but they will say nothen.

From Sept - Dec I had 3 - 4 ear infections that included ringing in the ears and ear pain and developed diarrhea The last ear infection (still joint pain and back pain) I was put on Cefzil and I had to go to the hospital because of tingling and burning from head to tow. They switched my ab to Levaquin 250 for 7 days. No change in the infection, still had diarrhea, joint pain and back pain. AB was switched to Levaquin 500 for 10 days and I honestly felt GREAT!!

Was on 1 1/2 grains of nature throid for two weeks (had to drop down from 4 due to heart palps etc. which I believe to be from low iron, had ekg and echo done and all is well. Palps stopped when I dropped med to 1/2 grain in morning and 1/2 grain at night +JUST started 25 mcg of T4 in the morning (feel like crap right now and this is a new feeling as of starting T4) which is my current medication dosage.
I know some people like the implants of which you speak, but there are some drawbacks (as far as I know it is because of the dosing and strengths and the lack of ability to adjust the doses until the time comes for the next set of implants, but I honestly don't know enough about the implants to say more). For menopausal reasons and especially at your age, I am glad to see your doctor gave you estradiol and only that (no other estrogens in the mix).
s way of dosing insulin is rather old-fashioned and there are new dosing regimes that can be more effective. Such as dosing your insulin to give a basal level, and then dosing based on carbs/fat/and protein in every meal.

When I posted an update on me and hubby, frijole asked if the study had been scraped, researchmonkey replied that only Tegobuvir (GS9190) had been pulled because of the bad interaction with Interferon. I have been searching for information on this (no one has mentioned it at the study clinic) and can't find anything, could you please tell me where you got your info? Maybe that is why hubby had such BAD side effects.
It is extremely important for you to work closely with your provider in optimizing your pain management. Opioid treatment regimens are very complicated, especially with dosing conversion and extended release formulations.
Opioid therapy conversion needs to be very conservative, because opioid overdose can lead to respiratory depression and may be fatal. Please follow-up with your provider in working out the best possible pain management for you.
