Hello. My urethra is extrememly swollen and painfull. It is not a UTI, herpes or and STD just had my physical 6 weeks ago. It has been painfull off and on for 6 months. The first Dr. prescribed cefprozil. It didn't do anything. The second Dr. gave me an antifungal with anti-iflammatory cream. It helps slightly but everything is still extremely swollen. I am worried it might be something more serious? I have no discharge.
My son who just turned 1 years old a few weeks ago has had stye like bumps on his eye lids for almost 5 weeks now. He actually has four, one on each lid and they are pretty close to the lids. I've been using topical eye ointment and warm compress for many weeks now and they sometimes appear to be getting better, then worse again and have not yet gone away. Now his lids are pretty swollen and red and I've started giving him oral anitbiotics (Cefprozil) which are prescribed for 10 days.
I did not want to take the medicine, but realize that i did suffer from depression and other things, and for me this drug really works, and it does not make me feel high or groggy (maybe for a little while in the beginning) but it all leveled out, now looking back at my life i realize that i do need this medicine, and if i could not take the zoloft i would be trying to find something that works, that is how much this antidepressant has changed my life......
t think it was herpes but I definitely needed antibiotics and prescribed Cefprozil. I asked if I should be taking the Acylovir, and she said no.
After a couple of days taking the Cefprozil the burning during urination stopped. That said, my lesions had then changed in appearance. I now had the yellowish fluid filled blisters in a few areas over reddish skin. My lymph nodes in my groin were also tender on one side. The area is sore to touch but not itchy yet.
I have had a strange pain in my left arm and leg for about a week now. I originally went to the Dr.'s last week due to an ear ache in my left ear. I was given Apo-Cefprozil - two days later my leg felt weird ( by the achilles tendant) -I shrugged this off as I have recently began running a lot. The next day my toes were tingling and the pain was also in my arm ( feels like carpal tunnel). My first thought was that my medication was too strong (500 mg twice a day).
HIV is only transmitted by unprotected sex or by direct exposure to blood, like when sharing needles for drug injection. It is never transmitted by razor blades in barber shops.
I appreciate the info but in my case I didn't have the sore throat or other symptoms until 2 days after the encounter, which has me worried
m asking please if is it possable that if i take the drug sitagliptin it would mean i could reduce the gliclazide and stop the mrtformin my Diabetes is well controlled on the whole but my nurse as requested i increase the glicazide

Just looking for anymore information or advise about withdraws from Fioricet / I have been taking this medication from years from Migrain headaches, it's seemed the longer I was on it the less it helped so I would increase my doses because I could not get rid of my headaches the other day I just stopped using it because it was like just this non stop headache.
I took him off the lithium thinking that was the cause because after doing research sleeping all the time was something major with that drug. I was also thinking that it could be the Coreg because they up the dose last time he saw the doctor but that has had time to get in his system and not be the problem. What I am wondering is if it could be something else with the heart causing the problem.
I have been prescribed cefprozil and what is around my mouth does sound like it would be impetigo. How would I have developed this?
As for the rest of my face, the swelling, rashing, itching, and burning... on eyelids cheeks and chin, would that be an effect of having impetigo as well?

A comment, then an answer. I provided the information I did in an effort to give you as much relevant information as possible because ultimately this is a decision you need to take yourself. If you stop the valacyclovir you may not have a recurrence and, in fact, I suspect you will not. I would suggest being off the drug at least a week before resuming sex, just to be on the safe side.
Second, you should discuss the situation with your wife.
I have a friend who is majorly addicted to oxycotin 80mg. I'm really clueless about this drug and he has asked me for help. From Friday to Sunday he's taken 16 pills by mouth or my snorting them. I don't know if this is a high dose or not, I'm really clueless. He says he's become tolerant to the medication and has to snot them now just to get a "high".
I dated a white heterosexual male who is in the navy. He is a non drug user. He had been recently divorced with one child. I have always practiced safe sex. during our relationship we always used condoms except on a trip we had sex (only vaginal intercourse) about 4 times without them he never ejaculated inside me. I know symptoms arent a good way to diagnose anything but The next day after having unprotected sex with him i felt like crap. Doesnt the navy regularly screen for STDS?
ask him to take an at home drug test and see how he reacts to that....i would be worried he was still using to if i were you....us addicts learned how to fit in and function like normal folk quit well.
