I took a 10 panel std test prior to the test I was taking Cefdinir although I stopped taking it 5 days before testing would the cefdinir affect the results which were negative.
Now have a possible sinus infection and doctor gave me Cefdinir. Two days into the medication, my neuropathy symptoms have increased. The burning, needle like sensations and numbness. I do not want to go through that nightmare again. So I stopped taking the antibiotic and am waiting to hear from my doctor for an alternative drug. Is this considered an allergic reaction or a severe symptom. Anyway to know which antibiotics I can use and not have this reaction.
Cefdinir has not been well studied for STD treatment however it is in the class of antibiotics called cephalosporins which are well studied. The dose of cefdinir you mention would certainly prevent syphilis and probably prevent/cure gonorrhea although that is less certain. it would not be expected to have any effect on chlamydia or NGU.

was just diagnosed last wednesday with the flu, and then yesterday 5 days later was diagnosed with a sinus and ear infection. for the last couple of days i have had really bad vertigo wether I am standing or sitting, feels kinda like I am drunk all day long, and really spiking my anxiety. I was put on cefdinir but have not even been on it a full 24 hours yet. I was wondering two things.
was aware I had the seizure problem and prescribed cipro, which I had to call and tell them to send me something different. The one at the pharmacy now is Augmentin. Just need a neurologist`s expert opinion as to whether or not it is alright to take Augmentin with my myoclonic seizure condition. Do not want to start up any seizures. However, this UTI is hurting so badly!!! If It is too risky then I can`t take it!!!! Please help me.

Do yourself a favor and visit an urgent care clinic, inform them of what you stated here and just pay for the visit. They'll most likely treat you for gonorrhea and chlamydia given the fact that your partner had positive results. It should be a quick painless shot in the butt followed by a few days of azithro (z-pack). I know it sucks, but just do it and then go back a few weeks later for a follow up urine test to see if it cleared up.
It's far better to treat and know than to wonder.
my husband had a deck built and made sure he bought 2 unbrellas and the in-laws are bringing another one on the 4th, i have to stay out of the sun there is no way that i could sit out there for any length of time and not suffer some serious consequences. also know about getting in and out of stores at right time, and hurrying across parking lots to car to put groceries in.

I have had allergic reaction to Levaquin and AzitheraI and have had side effects diarrhea and lightheaded from Cefdinir and Cephalexin so he prescribed Cipro 500mg. Said he doesn't usually prescribe but given that it have taken Cipro 250mg in the past (or urinary tract infection with no side effects. I did SOC treatment which ended 2 years ago and I stayed out of the sun for the very reason you mention. In fact, I'm still somewhat sensitive to heat and the sun...makes my skin feel prickly. I believe it's the riba that causes sun/heat sensitivity.

So I think you should have a complete, detailed and frank discussion with your hepatologist and oncologist about the pros and cons of treatment is needed for you to be aware of the pros and cons. In the end only you can decide but you should have all the the information before you make any decisions.
Also I would think you would have to have periodic blood tests to monitor your condition to make sure the Nexavar isn't causing major serious issues. Can you do that in Mexico?
