I took a 10 panel std test prior to the test I was taking Cefdinir although I stopped taking it 5 days before testing would the cefdinir affect the results which were negative.
Now have a possible sinus infection and doctor gave me Cefdinir. Two days into the medication, my neuropathy symptoms have increased. The burning, needle like sensations and numbness. I do not want to go through that nightmare again. So I stopped taking the antibiotic and am waiting to hear from my doctor for an alternative drug. Is this considered an allergic reaction or a severe symptom. Anyway to know which antibiotics I can use and not have this reaction.

Third, what are my odds of catching Syphillis give it is more prevelant in SE Asia and Thailand. My final question is that I visited a doctor in HK and he prescribed Cefdinir 300mgs, 2x a day for 2 weeks to treat possible STDs like gonorrhea, chlamydia or nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) and he also indicated this could treat Syphilis. After spending some time online, I am confused and not certain that will treat the above issues.

Hi im not sure about motrin but can tell you that for a while i was taking tylonolpms to sleep but they caused heart arythmias and a friend here told me to stop taking them as i dident know they were the cause and from the time i stoped useing them the heart arythmias stoped so im not saying the moltrin is the cause but yes that could be the cause but you should see your cardiologist to rule out another cause.
We took him back to his doctor and had x-rays taken. He then had pneumonia in his right lower lobe and was put on Cleocin for 10 days. Once he was off the Cleocin he started having fever again and still had his cough. Took him back to his doctor and had more x-rays. He had pneumonia again, but in his left lower lobe. He was put back on Cleocin. Ended up taking him to Children's hospital where they treated him for pneumonia for 2 days then sent home to take Cefdinir for 12 days.
I was tested for strep and mono. Strep came back positive (Strep C) and negative for mono. I was prescribed amoxicillin and was feeling much better on day 3 until I developed a horrible yeast infection. I was then prescribed the one dose of fluconazole and the yeast infection was cleared. My original symptoms were gone so I didn't bother taking the rest of the antibiotic. (I know, my fault).
Endodonist said there was pus -- infection. I have had allergic reaction to Levaquin and AzitheraI and have had side effects diarrhea and lightheaded from Cefdinir and Cephalexin so he prescribed Cipro 500mg. Said he doesn't usually prescribe but given that it have taken Cipro 250mg in the past (or urinary tract infection with no side effects. Is Cipro as effective as other antibiotics for dental infection?
I have been taking 800mg of motrin about every other day. to help ease the pain. My doctor is not aware of me taking the motrin. And now Im starting to worry, I have been taking it for about 2wks. now. And I know i should not have takin it. And Im trying so hard not too. But how much damage can already be done? I was at the hospital today and the babys heart beat was perfect they said, and the baby is extreamly active all the time!
Other antibiotics likely to cause seizures are ciprofloxacin, cefdinir, cephalexin, and penicillin (there are others too like metronidazole and TB drug INH etc). Usually taking vitamin B along with antibiotic prevents the likelihood of seizures. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!

i had my teeth pulled after i quit. Seems like everyone gets this done when they're trying so hard to stop taking pills. Oh well. I wouldnt take any opiates. Motrin or just tough it out. Other than that, if you take the pills you might as well start counting days all over again. Not trying to be mean but there is no way 17 days into withdrawal an addict can handle his or her doc. trust me. it will put you back into the throws of wd.
I'm a female and 5 days after giving oral sex to a male I came down with a sore throat and puss pockets went to dr and was put on z pack. That didn't clear it so I was put on cefdinir pus pockets are gone and my throat is no longer sore, however I have whitish grey flat patches in my throat on both sides just behind my back teeth. 2nd dr I went to tested me and I tested positive for yeast she gave me Nystatin for 10 days and patches are still there.
whoops typo Cefdinir or Omaicef also on Minocycline and nystatin. Thanks I hadn't heard about the lemon or baking soda in epsom salt bath.
My daughter started to have a cough at 3 months old and couldn’t seem to get rid of it. We have seen our pediatrician and Children’s Hospital Specialists and have tried the following:
- At 6 months old we started using a nebulizer twice a day with albuterol and a steroid, did not get rid of the cough and did this for several months.
- 7 months old got her first ear infection, put on amoxicillin and cough went away.
- 2 weeks later cough came back, did chest x-ray and came back clear.
