They can perform an epidural injection with local anesthetic and corticosteroids(Anti-inflamation med) that can relive the pain for a while. however it does not fix the bulge. Because your back and abs are your CORE.....

I do 15 Mins of treadmill (avg 10 speed), 10mins of cycling followed by 5 mins of skipping (rope jumping) everyday. After that I do 1hr of weight training (single body pary) 5 days a week. Would this schedule help me lose weight. P.S I do follow a diet, but mostly I tend to binge eat once or twice a week max.

Avatar f tn Hi, A lower calorie balanced diet is very effective for weight loss. A low carb diet causes the body to go into Ketosis whereby the body uses its fat as a source of energy. Also when you are in ketosis your body feels less hungry. This all sounds good except that this can also lead to kidney issues (even failure), osteoporosis, and kidney stones. Stay balanced and control your calories and you'll lose weight and avoid the side effects. Good luck.

I workout almost every day,or at least I try to do some walking or cycling when I don't have the time, and you need to watch your calories. But that's not it,tou have to make sure you get the good calories,not the empty ones that are in cookies and such. Women's health mag helps me a lot,too!

I've applied heat pad briefly and tried to massage away the bruise and the swelling.

I shall certainly go for a Hba 1c test as advised by you. I did eat very high carb and sugars meal before going in for the test. I will have to restrict my carb intake. And desserts should be a 'no' 'no'. !! I am a non veg and have fish, eggs and chicken occasionally.
Avatar f tn Sounds like your girlfriend should adopt a low carb diet, in order to reduce incidences of blood sugar cycling up and down. The more stable the blood sugar level, the less cycling up and down, which is causing her to feel sick. It's hard to manage insulin and medications to counteract ingesting large amounts of carbohydrates. So, if she stops eating high amounts of carbs, less need to counteract with meds. Try a day in two low carb, and you will see the difference.

Healthy diet ,regular rest,exercise, meds and therapy. It hasnt happened over night but it has happened and it is getting better every day.I feel great and life is good.

According to what I have researched, my BMR is 2485 and I eat about 1800 calories a day, so I should be losing weight just being me. Add in the approximate 2000 calories I burn with my exercise and I should be melting into a puddle!
