I had a risk exposure and had a base hiv test 4th gen ab/ag 25 hours after pep or after 2 truvadas and 3 isentress. Could this affect the negative result of the base test? Is the base test considered conclusive? The only risk exposure is no longer since the other party hiv test was negative and the exposure was low risk.

I had protected sex with a guy whom I met online 3 weeks ago. I was the insertive top (protected). He also performed unprotected oral on me.
The next day, I went to my doctor because I was worried and started PEP about 19 hours later (Truvada/Isentress).
A couple of days ago, I was able to reach the guy again and he was nice enough to test with me. He came out HIV negative and we were both given Azythromicyn in case we had any other STIs.

Hi, after being exposed to HIV 15 days ago, I'm on day 14 of PEP (Truvada & Isentress). I wonder if facial lipoatrophy (sunken cheeks, temples, eyes, etc) can develop as early as two weeks of being taking these meds. I'm a male model and I make a living of my face. Last week I was fired from 3 photo-shoots in a row. I don't know if I'm really experiencing facial fat waste, or if my face just reflects all the emotional distress I've been through for the past 2 weeks.

I panicked and 13 hours later I was at a clinic where I received PEP (Tenvir which is the same as Truvada and Isentress). The doctor told me to take Tenvir once a day for 30 days and Isentress twice a day for 30 days, I want to know what is my risk of exposure to HIV, and did my risk require PEP? Does PEP lower my risk to 0? Do I need to finish my PEP treatment?

PEP is very effective - it should be three drugs -- typically two medications Truvada + Isentress. Mass had a 2 year study where no one on PEP got infected.

I later went to my doctor and he prescribed me truvada and isentress which was about a month later after the " incident". To be honest, I have no clue how I got the cut but I am scared of what could happen. What are chances of me catching HIV if she intentionally scratch me with a needle? Can HIV transmit from a small cut like mines? I read online, HIV need direct access to the bloodstream to be transmit, how true is that?
