Common Questions and Answers about Broken leg young money full

broken-leg

Avatar f tn Money is so tight and now our car is broken down. It's like one thing after another. It is so stressful. I already feel like a failure of a parent.
Avatar f tn Last night we opened our backdoor to find a stray kitty (adolescent male). I noticed he was malnourished and gave him some milk and chicken (all I had for an animal). Then I noticed he was favoring one leg. I think it might be broken! I've called a few places and no one wants to deal with him, of course. They're just going to want to euthanize him instead of help him. So my question is this--- what do I do?!?!?!?!
Avatar n tn d get away from them as soon as possible. My husband was not an addict until he shattered his leg 14 years ago. Now he is a full-blown addict and not the same person at all...get out while you still can.
Avatar m tn Please get him in sooner than a few days. You don't want that leg to start healing, if it's broken and hasn't been set. That could run into more money, if he needs to go into surgery and they need to rebreak it. Call your vet and ask if you can post date a check.

Avatar f tn I am 27+2. I feel as though I will not have enough money for everything...
Avatar f tn I wanted him seen ASAP because of the broken rear leg. The x-rays showed that the injury was about a month old and that it was already healed. It wasn't just a little break but the femur was actually snapped off. In order to fix it, they'd have to do a surgery that costs over $1500. Or... amputation (around $450- including pain meds). My question is--- do we HAVE to do anything? When we found him he wouldn't walk on the leg and I thought it was a new injury.
Avatar f tn Talking about having a baby and actually having one are VERY different, believe me. You two need to make a list of your incoming and outgoing money. Then add baby expenses to that. If after you add baby expenses you still have more incoming than outgoing then financially you two will be ready. Then you have to think about if both of you are emotionally prepared to have a baby. You also have to think about what you'll have to sacrifice when you have a baby.
Avatar m tn I would also try to straighten it out throughout the day by putting it in my left pant leg between my pants and my leg. Anyway... it still works fine now it just has a slight curvature to the left. My question is could there still be complications associated with the fracture or do you think I'm fine? Also do you think it's possible that my penis did not fully develop to it's full potential size due to the fracture?
Avatar n tn Tibia is the shin bone that bears most of the weight and the Fibula is the splint bone located on the outside of the lower leg. In the case of a closed fracture there may be swelling and discolouration due to the large amounts of blood that emanate from a fractured bone. The usual healing time for a mid-shaft Tibia and Fibula fracture treated with cast immobilisation is 12 to 16 weeks.
9263335 tn?1403463032 Wow I honestly thought I'd never hear my husband say these things... just now he's saying we're too young to be parents & that he didn't enjoy his single life, & that well there's no way to keep our daughter from coming into to world. My hisband is saying he doesn't regret getting me pregnant but by everything else he just said he does regret it... it hurts so much to hear this from him specially now that I'm towards the end of my pregnancy.
5627474 tn?1374148775 Keep your eye out for a desk job or even look into doing daycare when your not working so that you can get some extra money while your still pregnant and unable to work full time. You will work it out but that may mean cutting back on some of the things your used to. We recently stopped having cell phones and switched to just a home phone, yes it's a pain but we are saving money every month by not having them.
Avatar f tn s leg makes this crunching feeling when you touch/move it, the vet also said she felt that but said it was not broken bones. If not broken bones then what is it? And how long should I expect it to take to be better? I know with humans it can be around 6-8 wks....is it the same with animals?
Avatar m tn they constantly rotated her legs and stretched them out again to check her hips before fracture was dianosed. then they put a cast on on the bottom of her leg instead of the top. would all of these mistakes have made the fracture worse than it originally was.
Avatar m tn I got to tell you there are some very wise people on this sight,I forget who said it maybe a few of you but it is the truth that being an addict is a full time job it never ends, counting pills worrying about running out, getting more money for a new supply, and what do we get paid for this?

Im a lifeguard and am worried that this is affecting my work, also soeone at work suggested i might have injured my 'scaphoid bone' (spelt wrong) does this sound possible?

Avatar n tn I've had my left ankle broken on sept 29, it was a fibula frature with a tibia dislocation, was on splint for a week, had surgery on oct 7th,plate + screws + a very long screw to place my tibia on the right place, splint for another week, then my orthopedist put me on aircast Air Stirrup Universe since then. He told me to start physical therapy a week after surgery, but I waited until 2 weeks. Now my foot hurts on an area that has nothing to do with the fracture.
Avatar m tn I can walk without crutches I do have a bit of a limp at the minute. Walking up stairs is a little more difficult I have to step good leg first. My fib is still broken and I hear it click when I walk. I was told this is normal and it will heal on its own and not to worry about it. I stopped using crutches after 3 weeks (only used them for really long walks) what I did to help walking is stand with my crutches but not using them, Then shift my weight over to the bad foot.
Avatar m tn that we go to DOCTORS and they have no idea whats wrong or they Misdiagnose a person .......Then its money money money as well... :-x You gotto to keep on with the blood tests till you find an answer!!! Best of Luck and Hope someone helps You !
Avatar m tn t need surgery and my bone was repositioned and i was put in a cast. I had my sixteenth birthday with a cast on my right leg and i have had to cancel my driving test as i can't drive with a cast on. I will be with a full walking cast for another 2 weeks (its been 5) and then i will have a short walking cast for another 3 weeks. How long after that can i drive again and also how long until i play soccer. I will be going to physical therapy.
Avatar n tn There will be pain and inflammation and you would need to take intermittent pain killers. Avoid putting full pressure on the injured leg and also limit physical activity to the minimum. After couple of weeks your pain will decrease and also go for a follow up visit and an X-ray to know if your tibia fracture is healing properly and based on the results you can proceed. Complete recovery with no pain and proper gait will take at least 6 months from now if your bone heals. Take care!
