Those you are closest to----------- like your parents, maybe one friend, and eventually your spouse----- those top relationships sit on the top. And it moves down from there. When you go through something traumatic, you have less energy to deal with those on the lower steps or tiers. After only two months, you can't expect to be at the top yet.
I just want to say the right thing to this teacher so she will wake up and realize that she has a real problem that is probaly affecting a lot of children. I want to educate her more than I want her to get into trouble. I can only guess how she was probaly raised.

This woman does actually have 2 children. They both walk around like perfect little girls that are afraid to make a mistake. I have a feeling that this is a deep rooted family issue. I feel sorry for all of them.
Afraid it may be an issue at school, appears to be afraid to go to the bathroom there. Been home for break and now back to school, not with siblings and home with parent during the day. Unsure if having issue with teacher or a bully, says not but could be telling me what it thinks I want to hear. Child does tell me it hurts to go to bathroom. So have alerted daughter to take to doctor my be bladder or kidney infection. How should I advise daughter to handle?

On the surface, I think it is smart to expect certain things out of the father of our children.
Get physically active and fill up your time with things that can make you happy. Do things that are different from the things you did with him. Make some new friends from a different group of people. Change your life in a positive direction and don't give yourself much time alone- even much time to think!! All you can do is distract yourself-- but the funny thing, is that the longer you do this, the better it works. And one day, you will wake up and find that your heart aches less.
Supposedly year round yet this month they had TWO weeks off! His teacher and I had a hard time getting him into the routine of school after summer break but yesterday he pushed a classmate (his best friend too) for no reason and wouldnt stop pushing him and when his teacher corrected him the 5th time he hit her!
How can I prevent more of this in the future?
After I damaged everything that was important to me, and just being flesh and bones I had enough and gave up. First of all, if you are beaten, Give up. Plain give up!!! Try the thomas method and speak to someone that walks in your shoes, call up a rehab center and just talk to someone that is recovering from opiates. Listen and get some tips, get some tips from this board. But try the recipe. Take it slow, baby steps. Your life will change and you are changing your life for the good.
Awe poor little guy I bet he is just scared or uncomfortable to ask the teacher. Is he a shy fella? I would just tell him everyone's gotta pee in school and to just ask the teacher. Sometimes teachers can get bossy and if the kids don't go potty on the potty break and you get a mean teacher she might say "no" Just tell him even if he does not have to pee durring the breaks try to go anyhow that way he won't have an accident in class.

I'm trying to figure out when to tell my work that I'm pregnant. I'll be 10 weeks on Friday. I am just starting to show, and we have our Christmas party on the day I hit 12 weeks. Its at night two hours away. I work for a law firm and there is always a lot to drink. I don't plan on going as I can't make it 2 hours without a potty break and I get evening sickness instead of morning sickness.

It is a system that this particular school uses, he had trouble with his previous teacher in Junior and senior infants as per the typical, standing up, chatting in class, making jokes. His previous teacher had me almost every day talking about his behavior. There was a personality clash on top of everything.
Now in first class, from day one, the story is other, his teacher finds him really cooperative and kind, but he struggles to be inactive for so many hours so they came up with this formula.
We worked really hard on training him . . . if he acts up (or in your case is entertaining kids, being a clown, making them laugh). . . It is actually DISRUPTIVE and eventually kids don't like it. they get in trouble being with the class clown, they get in trouble by association and it eventually leads to being kind of kept at arms length by other kids. My older son realized this!
Then let's go to my next son who has NO developmental issues or delays.
m thinking about talking to her new teacher once round up comes on Friday to let her know how I feel and maybe getting her held back another year, I feel like I've failed as a mother because I'm giving up on her but it been like this every single day that the more I stress the more I start to worry about my unborn child! Am I wrong what else can I do!!!??? Does she have a problem!????
Hello Ladies! I am going back to work on Monday after 2 weeks off. I am a teacher and was feeling a little miserable before break, but spent the last 2 weeks with all day sickness, mostly resting at home. Just wondering if anyone has tips on how to manage the sickness while working?? Im almost thru the 1st trimester and am really hoping the sickness will disappear soon. Any tips or ideas are appreciated!
My 5 year old daughter just started kindergarten. She is throwing up because she is so scared to go to school. Started out just crying. Now we have the weekend break and she is clinging to my husband and I because she is so scared about going back to school tomorrow. She loves the school, she just doesn't want to go.
