boniva

Avatar f tn Is boniva a possible cause of papilloma virus on the eyelid going into the conjunctiva? This discussion is related to <a href='/posts/show/643900'>uveitis of the eye caused by Boniva</a>.
Avatar f tn Bisphosphonates like Boniva have been associated rarely with uveitis. You would experience ocular pain, blurred vision, light sensitivity, loss of vision and possibly glaucoma if you had uveitis. Your ophthalmologist would be able to tell you right away if you had any uveitis and the Boniva could be discontinued if that were the case.
Avatar f tn I noted that for the last several months whenever I took Boniva I had significant swelling under both eyes. Thus, when this past Sunday, 5/23 I developed the papilloma on my left lower eyelid (center) which at first seemed to have a point on top & next day became more elongated I thought Boniva. I would appreciate any feedback as to cause & what possible treatment. It, not very large & seems to be same size this first week.
Avatar n tn I believe that my undiagnosed hashimotos may have contributed to my bone loss. All those months where I was living in the "hyper" swings of hashis the elevated thyroid hormones could very well have accelerated the bone loss. Some bone loss is natural as we age. We all cannot maintain the bone density of a medium framed 25 yr old (what they base the test scores on) I just received the results of a recent Dexascan.
212161 tn?1599427282 does anyone take Boniva and how bad were the side effects
Avatar f tn Hello. I'm sorry, first of all, that your mom is having the sleeping problems. In the end, that affects every day because without a decent sleep, it is hard to function. I liked the honey and milk and that solution as it sounds nice and natural which I wish everything could be to help all of us with medical issues. However........just in case it does not work........I would suggest that first of all, mom has a COMPLETE workup with blood tests, urine tests, etc.
447161 tn?1262923084 Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let you know that here in Australia, I was watching TV last night and an advertisement came on TV. 148588 tn?1465778809 s record on veterans issues. In the television ad, Concerned Veterans for America stated that Rep. Gallego "did nothing to fix" the problems in the Office of Veterans Affairs; a claim that is easily proven false. Now, after receiving a formal complaint from the Gallego campaign, WOAI, the San Antonio NBC affiliate has agreed to take the ad off the air. Rep. Gallego celebrated the decision by saying: "False ads like this are why people hate politics.
2059648 tn?1439766665 This morning I watch 3 commercials on local television for Hepatitis C Trials. This is so exciting to see this information getting out to the general public. www.ispot.
428506 tn?1296557399 Hi, I do not have a fibro or CFS dx, but have chronic Lyme which has a good amount of symptom overlap. While undiagnosed, I was treated with meds including Neurontin and Lyrica. I recently saw a new TV commercial for Lyrica. I've never liked these commercials as they seem to minimize the problem and severity of fibro by showing patients resuming active lives thanks to this medication. One I saw in the past depicted a woman working in a bakery.
1530342 tn?1405016490 In a television ad released Tuesday and later at an event outside Chicago, Romney criticized a recent Department of Human Services directive that relaxed federal work requirements for welfare recipients in what Obama administration officials said was an attempt to offer states more flexibility in determining who can qualify for state and federal assistance.
Avatar f tn The technician looked at my med list and asked if I am taking Boniva and Synthroid. I answered yes. I take other meds other than those two she mentioned. I told her that I understood why she asked about the Boniva but I didn't understand why she asked about Synthroid. She told me that thyroid meds take from the bones and causes osteoporosis. WHAT??? How come no doctor ever told me?
Avatar f tn I developed osteoporosis (only 52) and my gyno-onc had me see an endocrinologist. I now take Boniva- once monthly plus a mult-vit, calcium, and vit-D twice a day. My last scan showed improvement. He wanted me to go on hormone replacement but my gyno-onc would not hear of it.
Avatar m tn There will always be reminders of your addiction and temptations to use. Tv commercials about booze, driving down the street and seeing bars, pharmacys on every corner and in the grocery stores, drs offices, ers and on and on. The world isnt going to change for us so WE must change. The post about core issues is sooo important cause its almost impossible to stop using if you dont know why you used in the 1st place.
Avatar m tn 5 hours ago Auto companies hit back against Romney ads (CNN) – Democrats on Tuesday ramped up their pressure on the Romney campaign over two new ads on the auto bailout, as each side sought to sway voters in the crucial battleground state of Ohio. Spokespeople for Obama's re-election effort pointed to quotes from General Motors and Chrysler executives blasting Mitt Romney over a new round of ads that accuse the auto giants of shifting jobs overseas.
Avatar f tn extremely swollen right leg especially around knee joint - could not even bend knee, terrible hip pain and two days later a tooth abscess. What are the chances I can tolerate Boniva once a month? My Endocrinologist wants me to try it.
Avatar n tn I have had very little problems with Prolia. I've done 4 injections over the past 2 years. Just a little bit of bone pain for the first 2 wks after the injection then, it goes away. That said, unfortunately, for me, my DEXA did not improve and my osteoporosis in my spine (the T-score) did not get better. Now, my doctor is sending me to a 'bone' clinic that apparently specializes in bone disorders such as osteoporosis.
219241 tn?1413537765 W/O meds I was severely low at 9 with symptoms. Am thankful my PCP ran that Vit D test 2 yrs ago and my endo followed up with a full range of bloodwork and no answers why so low but nothing serious and the script meds bring me up to about 34 with >32 normal!
Avatar n tn She does not have any cramping, but they are watery. This all started when she began to take Boniva several months ago. She stopped taking it 2 months ago. I have suggested that it has not all left her system yet and this may take some time. She has not changed her diet or any meds. She is a creature of habit and eats and does the same things every day. She is 90 yrs old and still very able and mobile.
Avatar m tn But her bone density tests (I think) are fine. One physican gave her Synthroid, another told her to stop. One perscribed Boniva, another said no, cause she is a young lady. Here are her labs. Any comments?
