Is boniva a possible cause of papilloma virus on the eyelid going into the conjunctiva?

Bisphosphonates like Boniva have been associated rarely with uveitis. You would experience ocular pain, blurred vision, light sensitivity, loss of vision and possibly glaucoma if you had uveitis. Your ophthalmologist would be able to tell you right away if you had any uveitis and the Boniva could be discontinued if that were the case.
I noted that for the last several months whenever I took Boniva I had significant swelling under both eyes. Thus, when this past Sunday, 5/23 I developed the papilloma on my left lower eyelid (center) which at first seemed to have a point on top & next day became more elongated I thought Boniva. I would appreciate any feedback as to cause & what possible treatment. It, not very large & seems to be same size this first week.
The technician looked at my med list and asked if I am taking Boniva and Synthroid. I answered yes. I take other meds other than those two she mentioned. I told her that I understood why she asked about the Boniva but I didn't understand why she asked about Synthroid. She told me that thyroid meds take from the bones and causes osteoporosis. WHAT??? How come no doctor ever told me?
BUT, im mad because i know the dr will tell my dad. And, i cant have that. I dont want my family knowing. Do i have any course of a lawsuit? What do i do? I want to talk to my fam dr but im embarrassed becasue i feel like he wont understand and he will look at me as a dope addict. I never dr shopped, ever. Never.
I developed osteoporosis (only 52) and my gyno-onc had me see an endocrinologist. I now take Boniva- once monthly plus a mult-vit, calcium, and vit-D twice a day. My last scan showed improvement.
He wanted me to go on hormone replacement but my gyno-onc would not hear of it.
extremely swollen right leg especially around knee joint - could not even bend knee, terrible hip pain and two days later a tooth abscess. What are the chances I can tolerate Boniva once a month? My Endocrinologist wants me to try it.
I have had very little problems with Prolia. I've done 4 injections over the past 2 years. Just a little bit of bone pain for the first 2 wks after the injection then, it goes away. That said, unfortunately, for me, my DEXA did not improve and my osteoporosis in my spine (the T-score) did not get better. Now, my doctor is sending me to a 'bone' clinic that apparently specializes in bone disorders such as osteoporosis.
She does not have any cramping, but they are watery. This all started when she began to take Boniva several months ago. She stopped taking it 2 months ago. I have suggested that it has not all left her system yet and this may take some time. She has not changed her diet or any meds. She is a creature of habit and eats and does the same things every day. She is 90 yrs old and still very able and mobile.
But her bone density tests (I think) are fine. One physican gave her Synthroid, another told her to stop. One perscribed Boniva, another said no, cause she is a young lady. Here are her labs. Any comments?

in order to treat osteo you need to be on fosmax/ boniva or like substances and have hrt. your doctor you should sue.... because he perscribed it while having the knowledge of your bone health knowing it decreases the amount of calcium in your bones.
I was taking the hormones to help my bones, as I have osteopenia and rheumatoid arthritis. I am on prescription drugs to help the bones (Boniva and calcium and vit. d). I'm worried about breast cancer with continuing the hormones. I had a partial mastectomy on my right breast which was benign. I had a cluster of microcalcifications which looked supicious, but turned out to be benign (big sigh)! Okay now my question.
I cannot take the Boniva that has been prescribed for me as I also have Gastroparesis. I only take Lipitor right now. I was on Tapezole for 4 years because I also have
Graves Disease.
Also forgot to mention that last December my gyno put me on Boniva as according to my last two dexascans my numbers have dropped drastically. I am very worried about taking the Boniva. The first week after I take it I feel like I am coming down with the flu. Can all these issues be related to the thyroid?
They are given generally prescribed orally and include Fosamax, Actonel and Boniva. They can cause some severe stomach distress as they did for my father. When this happens there are injectable forms of bisphosphonates.
Ibandronate (Boniva injection) is injected into your vein once every three months, and zoledronic acid (Reclast) is injected once a year. If approved by your physician these treatments do not cause stomach distress and you do not have to remember to take a tablet.
If there is a lawyer in the area whose done a lawsuit like this, they can steer you in the direction of a knowledgeable doctor with the tramadol and side effects. Also, at least here, these types of case are done on a contingent basis, so that means that you don't pay unless you win and the attorney fees will come out of your award. Good luck to you!

Hello. I'm sorry, first of all, that your mom is having the sleeping problems. In the end, that affects every day because without a decent sleep, it is hard to function. I liked the honey and milk and that solution as it sounds nice and natural which I wish everything could be to help all of us with medical issues. However........just in case it does not work........I would suggest that first of all, mom has a COMPLETE workup with blood tests, urine tests, etc.
for the treatment of Osteoporosis and all have some value. One with a similar name (Boniva) is used quite often and is said to have good results. Since we deal strictly with Breast Cancer issues on this Community you might look at the top of the page under "Health Information" where you will find a subtitle "Osteoporosis" and post there or read other posts and comments. after just being informed of this lawsuit, i would like to know how to become part of it as well!!! i have used their bras for 2 years now and for the last 6mths i bought 4 new bras from victoria secret and could not figure out why i had such a bad rash under my breasts. i thought it was a skin condition so i am presently making a dermatologist appointment!!! if you hear anything please let me know! my email is ***@****!
I recommend checking out the website "Save Our Bones". It is an alternative to using bisphosphonates (Fosamax, Boniva, Actonel, et al) These drugs interrupt the remodeling of bones by adding a "sheath" or layer of hardening to the outside of the bones in an effort to prevent bone "loss". Bones remodel (replace) naturally every few years.
One of the problems with bones is our diets are often highly acidic by processed foods.
A friend of mine is currently under a doctors care where he is involved in a lawsuit claiming a work related injury where he was paid off the books. He has a back injury disc problem and is prescirbed oxycodone 20 mgs to take 4 times per day.
He has been taking this for approximately one year and will be taking this until the lawsuit gets resolved, which could be another year or so. He is unemployed and has no medical insurance. All costs incurred are going to the lawsuit.
