My doctor is thinking about the yearly injection of reclast. How safe is it and will I have more problems with my bones aching - I can't sleep at night a lot from the pain.

Bisphosphonates like Boniva have been associated rarely with uveitis. You would experience ocular pain, blurred vision, light sensitivity, loss of vision and possibly glaucoma if you had uveitis. Your ophthalmologist would be able to tell you right away if you had any uveitis and the Boniva could be discontinued if that were the case.
I noted that for the last several months whenever I took Boniva I had significant swelling under both eyes. Thus, when this past Sunday, 5/23 I developed the papilloma on my left lower eyelid (center) which at first seemed to have a point on top & next day became more elongated I thought Boniva. I would appreciate any feedback as to cause & what possible treatment. It, not very large & seems to be same size this first week.
d like to think there is something better we could be put on than just a regular vitamin...I know there are some IV treatments you can do now and prescription supplements - not sure how much better they would be though.

Although I am educated person, I made the biggest mistake 3 months ago when I was extremely drunk. First time in my life I used IV drug injection and it was used before me. I do have no idea whether the guy was positive or negative before me. As I said it was my first experience, I even do not SMOKE and am very healthy person.
Then, I haven been tested 5 times: The last was 3 months after the exposure. No symptoms at all.
i had a stress test the end of may. they put an iv in my arm where it bends. it has never healed the injection site. it is about the size of a dime. does not hurt at all, but am concerned about it.
in 2009 my numbers had worsened by 5%, even with Boniva, then Fosamax. I have many of the symptoms of hyperparathyroid, most notably new dx of A-Fib in the last year.
What should I do? Should I be concerned?
my sister used an iv drug in her arm not sure if the rig was dirty or whats going on there isnt alot of redness but i is swollen under skin more so than on top. feels like a pretty good not. Ive been drained before. I put her on an antibiotic and going to see if that works. is a week two long and it seems to be getting larger but just got antibiotic today.
The technician looked at my med list and asked if I am taking Boniva and Synthroid. I answered yes. I take other meds other than those two she mentioned. I told her that I understood why she asked about the Boniva but I didn't understand why she asked about Synthroid. She told me that thyroid meds take from the bones and causes osteoporosis. WHAT??? How come no doctor ever told me?
It seemed to help until the third year, then I was given Synvisc. I am on my second round of Synvisc along with an injection of Kenalog for bursitis pain in legs. I have just been given my second shot and will receive one more next week. My question is I have been having the butterfly rash since all this started a few years ago., I have been diagnosed as rosacia.
extremely swollen right leg especially around knee joint - could not even bend knee, terrible hip pain and two days later a tooth abscess. What are the chances I can tolerate Boniva once a month? My Endocrinologist wants me to try it.
s mix with air. The IV injection RX i got is 25mg/ml 30ml vial, doctor wants me to start with 25mg that means when i take out 1ml of the ALA to mix in IV bag I will have to throw the rest away , that's wasting 90% of the medication.
Does anyone heard of that? I can't find any supporting article saying about the iv

She does not have any cramping, but they are watery. This all started when she began to take Boniva several months ago. She stopped taking it 2 months ago. I have suggested that it has not all left her system yet and this may take some time. She has not changed her diet or any meds. She is a creature of habit and eats and does the same things every day. She is 90 yrs old and still very able and mobile.
