avalide

Avatar m tn Docs have done many blood tests and say I have mild Diabetes and have me on Metamorphin I believe it is . It is very frustrating but sometimes I drink fluids until I am ready to burst. I am on Avalide for high BP but have talked to others with diabetes ( some on insulin ) and on BP meds and they drink nowhere near whay I do or feel thirsty all the time. My body weight can fluctuate as much as 10 lbs during the week ( daily 3-5 max ) .
Avatar f tn No significant health problems other than mild hypertension treated with Avalide. My potassium was low (I think due to the HCTZ in the Avalide). I don't drink, smoke or take any recreational drugs. I saw a neurologist, who says the MRI is normal, EEG is not (temporal lobe irregularities). He's on vacation...I'm traveling alot and can't see him for another 2 weeks. Is this a problem I need to see someone about before then?
Avatar n tn There is an extension of the BMS 790052/ PSI 7977 study which has been ongoing for some months now which is aimed at people who failed the triple. That is coming up in Febrary or March. The Phase III trials are going to be including people who "cannot take interferon" and that involves people who have already tried it. If you don't feel offended by reading material which is aimed at investors, I would take a look at Pharmasset's web site www.pharmasset.
Avatar f tn Recently I was given biaxin by my family doctor not aware of the possible interaction and I began to retain after only two of them. Since then I have not been able to get my blood pressure under control again. I was on avalide, toprol xl, procardia xl along with the norpace and had to take potassium because it would go too low for the norpace. I have not been able to take avalide since the episode and am now on Avapro which works bettermost of the time than using avalide.
Avatar m tn Hello, I’ve had high blood pressure since I’ve been a teen quite stable at 160/80 I’m now 27 years old and have been on medication for 2 years now… I started with avopro 150mg I went down to about 145/70, then they changed my medication to avalide 300/12.
Avatar m tn ve seen no blood. I am a 55y/o male.
492329 tn?1290883385 I take Avalide 150/12.5 and Atenolol 50 mg, am/pm for Avalide and he did up my Atenolol to twice a day. He wants me to walk 30 mins a day and lose 25 lbs in 6 mos. However, my head aches the minute I more my ears ring to. He seems to think they are not connected. I'm really, really terrified! Oh and I had a heart cath in Oct 2008 all okay, but he did mention an S4 but said it would go away when the pressure comes down.
Avatar m tn I’m 58 yrs old, 5 ft 10 in and 200 lbs. I’ve been taking Avalide 150/12.5 for pre-hypertension for 8 months. I exercise six times per week and have done so for years; weights twice each week and spinning/bike four times. Any thoughts, input would be appreciated.
1913502 tn?1330388192 gonnabhepcfree did not mention it but I believe she is GT 3 and it only took her ONE WEEK to be UND as I recall with PSI 7977 and BMS 790052. She can correct this information if necessary.

Avatar f tn Ok this is a little tmi but I need advice.....I've been havin good bms so I know that can't be the cause....but I'm 27+3 and I've been feeling like I need to poop but I DON'T have to... Avatar n tn ve been on Lopressor for years to keep my heart rate down and Avalide for blood pressure. Then in November, my arrthymia worsen. So after about 6 weeks of playing with my Lopressor dosage, my doctor cut the lopressor and put me on Cardizem which is a calcium channel blocker like verapamil. My heart rate became much worse...very rapid like around 120-140....after 3 days of this, I begged to get back on Lopressor so we did and it's back to how it was ...no better no worse....

Avatar f tn Where is the data that the new technology is better than just have BMS compared with a BMS in 3 months?....how does that increase longivity?...to take your premise that the new DES increases life span and to carry that to a logic conclusion would indicate everyone with stable angina should have an implant of the new DES, and they will live longer! :) I don't see any reference the study was BMS.
Avatar f tn First thing in the morning I usually do not need to force BMs, it’s more later in the day. I’ll have to force BMs (force as in using fingers to pull them out or to open hole triggering movement) every other day at least. I have to force the BMs as otherwise it will not come out, and it will stop/prevent cramping. In some cases, large bms will actually cause light cramping for a few mins immediately after. I also fart all the time, usually occurring before needing to go to the bathroom.
Avatar m tn 5mg today and there has been a price drop to inr745 for 10 tablets from 2450.BMS has finally made it a little affordable for all of us.
492329 tn?1290883385 I've been on Atenolol 50mg and Avalide 150/12.5mg for 10 yrs. All of the sudden the Atenolol is making my heart rate drop too much and my cardio dropped it to 25mg (12.5mg in am/12.5mg in pm) and, of course, the palps/flutters started almost immediately. He believes it's anxiety and my GERD acting up!
Avatar f tn This was already posted by SusieS2010 on another thread but this seems so good it needs it's own headline. I will just post the first part but there is a bunch more you can google for. Ev --------------------------------------------------------- Reported by Jules Levin EASL 2011 April 2 Berlin Germany Presented by Anna Lok from Jules: this is the biggest story & news to come out of this meeting, needless to say, and the biggest advancement in medicine in 50 years.
Avatar n tn Why was c-phen dm infant drops recalled?
Avatar f tn It goes around my whole middle section. During the attacks I have to use the bathroom a lot (BMS). I have burning when I urinate and the pain is severe. It is colicky in its nature. I know kidney stones can cause all of this except having to have the BMS during the attacks. Anyone have this?
Avatar n tn Okay, so I've been having seemingly random abdominal pain that ranges from right below my ribs to my pelvis (crampy along my sides and sharper in my pelvis and around my belly button) for the past two months or so. I've also had frequent bms that are occasionally yellow-ish and have floated a few times.

89592 tn?1391274422 ve seen a colorectal surgeon who said to use metamucil to bulk up stools to cause less bowel movements so as not to cause the bleeding...sometimes I can have 8 loose bms at one time. he would not do anything to the varices for risk of infection. He said I may be able to find someone who could but he wouldnt do it. can anyone who has been thru this let me know what they have done and what has helped. I have no hepatic encephalopathy or ascites. just this darn bleeding after many bms.
