Benzaclin with pump

Common Questions and Answers about Benzaclin with pump

benzaclin

Avatar f tn I haverecently gone to my primary physician and dermatologist and they tell me it is acne and prescribed benzaclin/ Atralin and sumaxin. Benzaclin seemed to work at first, but now it seems to make my breakouts worse. The other two prescriptions just dont seem to work at all. What could this be?Herpes? I do have herpes, but my doctor tells me it should only be on the lip (I have it next to the lip) it's not noticeable at all.
Avatar m tn You're skin is very similar to mine. If you have sensitive skin, you need to use products that are meant for sensitive skin above all others. Don't layer multiple products meant for treating acneic skin, which will make matters worse for sensitive skin. Multiple acneic treatments that strip your skin's natural oils will leave dead skin cells on the surface and lead to more clogged pores.
Avatar n tn Every 2-3 weeks, I wax my upper lip. For the past few months, I've noticed that i get the same small spot 1-2 days later on the edge of my upper lip. It's very small, but I notice it now because I expect it to surface when i wax. It's flat with a little swelling, skin colored and just a little red around the edge, never comes to a head and never blisters. I've tried popping it, but there's nothing really to pop. It usually goes away within the week.
Avatar f tn ll I called my medicate and they said he has to be in the nicu for 54 days for me to get a pump and they only wanna give a pump if I join a program which mean a nurse coming in which I don't need
Avatar n tn Face wash with .5% salicylic acid and another facewash with 3.5% benzoyl peroxide. I MAKE SURE to take really good care of my skin but it dosent seem to work. Also i have a prescription face medication cream called BenzaClin which is 1% clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl peroxide. Also, i am away at college far from my house so could it be my face isnt use to the water here? Im not sure what else it could be. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to help???
Avatar n tn I've had diabetes since I was 10. I am now 20. This past year I think I've had the most problems with my pump. I use the paradigm. I've been getting motor errors as well as NO Delivery. But in the past week I have had DKA probably 4 times, but not bad enough to go to the hospital . My sites have been bending so that I don't receive the insulin. I use the 6mm.
Avatar m tn One doctor prescribed Benzaclin and another doctor referred me to a dermatologist. After scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist and waiting over three months I ended up seeing a PAC and not an actual dermatologist (if that matters). Unfortunately I lost the notes I had from the visit but she said I had Sebaceous something or the other. She said there wasn't really anything I could do to clear it up. She gave me a Tretinoin prescription for acne in general.
Avatar f tn I'm 24 weeks. I already bought one Its the one with the backpack and tbh I'm so excited to start breastfeeding as with my other children it didn't last long due to the fact that I had a manual pump but I know with this one,it'll be much easier to stick with it. I read reviews and some women mentioned poor suction. What do you think?
Avatar n tn We did try and have sex when I had the pump in, but because my surgeon did not suture all 4 corners of the pouch that hold the pump, my pump would move all around and it just so happened that during our try at having sex the pump moved around, it hit the lower part of my rib cage and caused the moment to go away "if you know what I mean". Make sure your surgeon sutures all 4 corners of the pouch that hold the pump. I didn't like the pain pump, but thats me.
Avatar f tn I was just wondering if anyone knew how to go about getting your free breast pump with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama? I called my insurance but was told to go online and so far I haven't been able to really find exactly what I need.
Avatar n tn ve heard you need to go expensive with a pump. Is that true? If the baby latches do I still need to pump? Should I do both? Any info is much appreciated! Thanks!!
Avatar n tn This has happened all four times with shunt malfunction symptoms and with my insulin pump clogging. So, for me, flying affects both my shunt and insulin pump.
Avatar n tn I recently upgraded from a MiniMed 522 to a 722, and now have a pump sitting around with no use for it. I was wondering if there were any charitable organizations that could accept a used pump as a donation, or what others had done with their used pumps. I certainly do not want someone to start pump therapy against (or without)the advice of a physician, but I also know that price can be very prohibitive for someone who could benefit from pump therapy.
Avatar n tn My boyfriend is 18 years old. He has had type 1 diabetes since he was 7 years old, and about 4 years ago was given a pump to regulate his insulin. I'm concerned because he doesn't eat properly, and I think it's because he relies on the pump so he can eat things with high sugar. He'll eat all the cookies and sweets he wants and then just use the pump to bring his sugar down, which I think is kinda typical since he's a teenager (I am too, so I'm guilty as well).
195469 tn?1388322888 I am trying to make a decision about the use of an spinal implantable Balcofen pump, instead of using pain medications. Unless they come up with a cure and a reversal of the damage done by MS, I realistically know that pain will probably be with me as long as I live. I just cannot bear the thought of having to take pills the rest of my life. Do any of you know about the Baclofen pump, i.e., it's pros and cons? I'll do anything to get off this merry-go-round of pain medications.
1209036 tn?1299178657 yesterday when i was pumping i noticed nothing coming out of my left breast, i took the pump off and noticed that my milk is thick and stringy.....what does this mean and how do i correct it? any thoughts?
Avatar n tn I use the Quick Sets (not the PLUS) with a Cozmo pump because I like the serter. I haven't had any trouble with my sets. I use the 23" 6 mm and recently am trying the 23" 9mm. I have read on other boards of bad batches/boxes, so DO insist on a new box. The problem I remember reading about (but don't remember if it was on the PLUS or the QS) was that after disconnecting the sets failed to re-connect properly. They weren't "snapping" back into position.
Avatar n tn ) As far as traveling to different time zones, we have not yet done so with our son on his pump, but I would simply change the time in the pump to match the time zone. As always, follow up any questions with your doc. The above are just suggestions that I have been told.
Avatar m tn What do you think about the idea that if you increase cell turnover (with retin A, tretinoin) and exfoliate with special face washes, can that help prevent ingrown hairs. I don't have acne on areas on my face with no hair growth. The places I get acne is due to ingrown hairs mostly.
Avatar f tn Waiting for, I can rent a breast pump from the hospital butbu have to purchase the tubes. I did that with my first baby I rented the medela double electric pump. I actually didn't like using it cuz the tubes were so hard to get clean and I was worried about bacteria and mold growing in them. A friend of mine, got me the avent manual breast pump and to my surprise, I really loved using it. It was easy to take apart and clean and it pumped milk very quickly.
Avatar n tn i have had a pump for over 5 yrs and in a month after recieving it I felt 1000000000 times better. Both mental and physical. I use the minimed pump. I am 36 now and I feel great. I would much rather get one "shot" every 2-3 days than 4 shots a day. its much easier and less of a hassle. THe only thing I didnt like was getting used to it in the beginning, but you get over that fast.
Avatar f tn I was crying with the pain, spent over 5 hours on and off in the bathroom and it was my birthday! HORRIBLE! I got the Madela rental pump and trying to pump as much as I can but the days fly and I feel like I am not doing it as much as I should. I'm sad because I really wanted to breastfeed. My little boy latches well but gets frustrated because I have very little milk. My baby girl has latching issues and we tried with a nipple at the doctor's office.
Avatar f tn Which kind of pump did you ladies prefer? Manual or electric? I've seen some with rubber cups and plastic what's the difference?
Avatar f tn Do I lose any milk if I pump instead of feeding him straight on? My boobs have been sore lately nd its way easier that way is anything changing or should I stop being a baby nd put him baq on?
Avatar f tn I have been a diabetic type 1 since I was 14, I'm 21 now. I havehaven't had a pump but that's a choice you have to make on your own. I will say that it isn't a bad idea to look into getting one. My cousins have them and they say its a lot better than needles or the pens.
