Every 2-3 weeks, I wax my upper lip. For the past few months, I've noticed that i get the same small spot 1-2 days later on the edge of my upper lip. It's very small, but I notice it now because I expect it to surface when i wax. It's flat with a little swelling, skin colored and just a little red around the edge, never comes to a head and never blisters. I've tried popping it, but there's nothing really to pop. It usually goes away within the week.
One doctor prescribed Benzaclin and another doctor referred me to a dermatologist. After scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist and waiting over three months I ended up seeing a PAC and not an actual dermatologist (if that matters).
Unfortunately I lost the notes I had from the visit but she said I had Sebaceous something or the other. She said there wasn't really anything I could do to clear it up. She gave me a Tretinoin prescription for acne in general.
I haverecently gone to my primary physician and dermatologist and they tell me it is acne and prescribed benzaclin/ Atralin and sumaxin. Benzaclin seemed to work at first, but now it seems to make my breakouts worse. The other two prescriptions just dont seem to work at all. What could this be?Herpes? I do have herpes, but my doctor tells me it should only be on the lip (I have it next to the lip) it's not noticeable at all.
The skin on my cheeks seems to be dry right now because of the topical stuff from my dermatologist (retin-a micro gel, used in the morning and left on till night, and benzaclin gel used at night and left on till morning) but normally it feels pretty smooth and kind of soft but also kind of dry. My forehead feels scaly-ish which is probably because of all the imperfections on it but in the summer it is pretty oily and right now in the winter is feels dry and scaly. My jawline is pretty average.
I am a male and in my teens and have Perioral dermatitis which I have read is uncommon, I know exactly how I got the skin condition from to much use of a Steroidal topical cream, I am now going through my second flare up - my last flare was about 2 years ago around this time, I think the flare up was caused by chlorinated water, which I read is not good for this condition I have been struggling to keep this condition under control and my treatment from my last time does not seem to be working, w
I am currently taking benzaclin and erythromycin gel at night and Evoclin foam in the day. I also tweeze and wax the hairs. I was wondering if tretinoin cream would help prevent ingrown hairs due to increased epithelial cell turnover?
I know laser treatment would be most beneficial but cannot afford it at the moment. What can I do in the meantime to help prevent ingrown hair and pimples in the hair follicle?
Also i have a prescription face medication cream called BenzaClin which is 1% clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl peroxide. Also, i am away at college far from my house so could it be my face isnt use to the water here? Im not sure what else it could be. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to help??? Can someone tell me what has helped them get rid of annoying and stubborn pimmples? Pleasee helpppp.. thanks!
I did get a zit on my face at the same time, whats that mean? Thankfully I use benzaclin and retina a. But its not for hair. Im such a well informed person on so many levels I cant believe this ones a stumper.
Is this b/c the skin without hair is still healing and will blend in eventually or is it going to stay this way. Also, this was the first treatment. Will hair grow back in these spots that have no hair. After this first laser treatment, my husbands face was full of scabs and was swollen (it looked like he had his wisdom teeth pulled out). We have been to two Dermatologists and both say they think he will be fine, but we are afraid they are not telling us everything.

The retinal surgeon who examined me recommended laser retinopexy for a tiny flap tear on the periphery. When I went back for the laser a different guy was there to do the laser (I found out later he was a retinal "fellow" or student). He told me that he and the surgeon "divide up the patients." He lasered the flap tear but then said he noticed a thin spot and recommended lasering that too. I said OK and he did it.
Hi, i have my white spot on my legs and arms whenever im in a cold place ( airconditioned place) its flat and not itchy, I tried to use nizoral cream and trosyd cream for 1 month but nothing happened. It makes me embarass especially in our office because they notice the white spot/white dot and its like a fungal infection.
But whwn i'm in warm or normal place my white spot will not appear.What kind of disease is this? is their any treatment or natural way to get rid of this skin problem?
As you can see, my point is this - just like MS is different for everyone, so is finding the right treatment. I have a large red spot the size of a quarter on my left breast. I had a mammogram done 3 weeks ago which showed no negative signs of anything. What do you think this could be?
I am 17 years old and a couple of months ago I got a pimple on the tip of my nose. It was really bothering me so I popped it, and it left a red spot, I though it was only irritated, but its been months now and its not going away. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to get rid of the spot?

Hi everyone. I'm 18 years old & have had a breast spot for a month or two now. At first it was just really red so I thought it was a pimple, and as the redness around it went down, the spot never left. If i rub around on it I can feel a little bit but other than that nothing is there. It's no pain. Nothing. Can anyone rule out cancer? If I squeeze it nothing comes out.
In 2009, I had a dermal fibrous hisitiocytoma removed from my right arm. It started as a brown dot, and grew in to a lump that was about half and inch, and brown-purple in color, like a bruise. It was benign, but I was told to watch my skin for anything weird going on. The tumor has only a 30% chance of recurrence. The doctor said to watch sun exposure, which I did.
Now, I've noticed a brown spot next to my ear, under the hair line, on the right side.
