Hello, My cat has been throwing up a brown very watery liquid for the past few days. He will go maybe a whole day and not throw up at all but then overnight we find that he's thrown up 4 or 5 times. He still drinks his water and eats his food and seems his normal self but i'm worried there might be something else wrong. Oh, this morning in his vomit was a lot of little white pecks maybe a little larger than grains of salt or sugar. Thnx any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, I have a 13 year old Pekeneese? for the past week, he has been throwing up, clear liquid. about 1/4 cup..I don't weigh it.. just from what it looks like.. everyday.. he is eating and moving around, but does go and hide under the end tables which is different. He seems more nervous then normal too. But he still will play when his dad comes home from work. So I see a change in him and he throws up more then he used too. I'm not sure what this could be?

Green vomit could mean she is vomiting bile. Bile is a green substance that is excreted by the liver into the gall bladder then into our intestines to help with digestion. She could have had a gall bladder attack. Is the back pain located by her right shoulder or in-between her shoulder blades? That is a sign of a gall bladder or liver problem. Gall bladder attacks tend to wake people in the middle of the night. She could have passed a gall stone.

Is your throat raw? Have you been throwing up a lot? Either way I'd tell your doctor, if you're throwing up that much that your throat is raw you should probably get checked out!

I have Gastroparesis and feel like I'm the queen of nausea and vomiting after having it so many years, lol. It's not a good thing to see blood in vomit, but have had it happen to me many of time. This has been going on for a long time. Every time I've taken her to the vet I've mentioned it. There's a million reasons why she could be throwing up, I'm told. She could just have a nervous stomach, eating too fast, isn't tolerating food well or it could be a medical reason. They ran all kinds of expensive tests on her before doing her surgery a couple of months ago and everything came back fine, including diabetes, kidneys looked fine, etc.
