I am on medication Monteluckast-10mg once daily, Fexofenadine-180mg once daily, Budamate rotacaps-400mg twice daily and Nasal Spray- Azelastine and FLuticasone. I have chest pain in the right side of my chest, it is like piercing something from inside and tightness in the upper part of the chest.
Having IgE value- 498
In Chest X-Ray the report is:
1. Increased vascularity is noted in the left parahilarand right paracardiac area.
2.No evidence of filtration.

Allegra, zyrtec, claritin, flonase, ipratropium, ranitidine, azelastine, prednisone, azelastine, clarithromyc, ventolin, montelukast, azithromycin, clindamycin, methylpred, cefdinir, omeprazole, arnuity.
Went to doctor to get steroid shot they usually work but nothing. Doctor also prescribed Azelastine took awhile to pick it up. There was mix up with where it was sent. Was I glad when I did pick it up... HELL YEAH! Not only did it help with allergies but that hellish itch was gone totally. Just like that UNBELIEVABLE! Don't know why. Can't find any info that Azelastine would help with that problem. BUT IT DID! there is no doubt in my mind. Its not a coincidence.
My treatment plan includes the usual .... steam, nasal irrigation, nasal gels, nasal oils, humidifiers, tons of water and tea, no dairy and ocassionally an antibiotic and oral steroids. This is how I’ve managed to keep things under control. Had septoplasty and turbinate reduction about 17 years ago and maybe there was some relief but really not sure (surgery screwed up my septum, now ive got a septal spur and small hole in septum....in other words, the doc screwed it up).
Optivar (Azelastine) is an antihistamine, a fairly potent one, but you might want to ask your eye doctor about possibly using a corticosteroid eye drop to quell the severe allergic reaction. Also, you might want to consider the use of wrap-around or sealed glasses to reduce the amount of airborne allergen reaching your eyes.
Itching is one thing – pain is another especially bad eye pain. Probably just that awful feeling of gravel in the eyes.
azelastine and fluticasone. She also put me on Ranitidine. I also use the nedi-pod.
I started feeling better, but after the 30 day supply, I began feeling it all come back. Saw GI and he put me on Dexilant 30 day supply and that did not help.
I went back to ENT. She put me back on everything plus methlprednisolone (6 day). I started feeling better for a good month. Even stopped the sleeping pill.
Then I started feeling it all come back. Went to ER after a weekend of suffering.
Both myself and my 16 year old daughter have been suffering from allergies since early springtime. The biggest complaint we have is nasal congestion. We've tried prescription nasal sprays and over-the-counter meds. such as Loratradine, but to no avail. Unfortunately, the only way we can get a good night's rest is to use nasal spray at bedtime. We both only squirt one spray into each nostril.
Deviated nasal septum, nasal polyps and tumors can also cause persistent nasal congestion. Worms in stool can raise the eosinophil count (a part of the white blood cell count) and thus increase the possibility of nasal congestion.
You’ll have to discuss all these possibilities with your doctor. The nasal passages will have to be examined. Complete blood count and stool test may be required. You may need to get X-rays or CT scans too.

m only 17 going on 18 And Im 11 weeks and a day and lately out of the 10 and 11th weeks my nose has been so congested. I use a little bit of nasal spray or just use a humidifier and it feels like nothing is getting better at all what should I do?
It's more common in later pregnancy. It's called rhinitis of pregnancy. It made me snore like crazy during my first pregnancy.
Does anyone have any tips to better my nasal congestion? Or is there anything I can take or use?
Has anyone had SEVERE nasal congestion? I've tried meds, nose strips and nothing seems to work. I've even tried the nasal breathe aids you stick inside your nose.
Im 8wks 5dys and the last two days I've had terrible nasal congestion it's so irritating idk what to do. Is there anything I can take or will breath right strips be ok to use?
The only thing that allows me to breathe is a nasal spray equivalent to afrin. I used to be addicted yrs ago but now I only use it in dire emergency....like before eating or bed because I can't sleep if I can't breathe through my nose. In the past 3 days I've only used it at night and a couple other times during the day when it was really bad! I try to hold off as long as possible without using it. And I only use 1 or 2 sprays and usually only in 1 nostril.
/ everyday with sniffles and runny nose. People ask me if I have a cold I say no but I wish I did so then I know of would go away.
If it's,allergies you could take benadryl. That helps me when im sick and stuffy.
I was diagnosed as having a deviated septum, chronic sinusitus, polyps and a possible mucus pocket. What I don't get is my Homocysteine level is 45.4 (normal high is 11.4) and white matter leaking at the front part of my head. I believe this all started 4 years ago when I broke my nose.
